Hi, I'm trying to install Sierra on my Lenovo Z370 (i3-2310M, Intel HD 3000).

My first attempt was with the installer from Unibeast (legacy/EFI) but the boot loading stopped in the half of the loading bar, with the Apple logo.

Last message:

I used OS X in this laptop in the past, so I searched the web and I found an successful case of installing Yosemite, and I did the following:
- Replaced the config.plist;
- Added the .aml file to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched;
- Added the files from folders: drivers32, drivers64, drivers32UEFI, drivers64UEFI;

Now the loading completes, but after loading it's like the display is deactivated or it gets in suspend mode, and I can't see the MacOS installer.

The last message is the same (Screen Shot 2017-06-26 at 3.17.24 AM.png).

I tried removing the Inject Intel option on Clover, but with or without the outcome is the same.

I uploaded the files I've found on the web (sorry for the big file), said to be working with Yosemite on same laptop (z370-OSX10.10.4-boot-kexts.zip).

And uploaded the current CLOVER folder I'm trying (current-clover-z370-attempt.zip).

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Tried to follow the suggestions from posts:

I tried to put the Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFix.kext in CLOVER/kexts and CLOVER/kexts/Other, but didn't work from either.

Is there a way to put these kexts in L/E/ without the system installed?
shouldn't be anything in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched if you are trying to install Sierra

too many files drivers64UEFI
Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFix.kext should be in kexts/other (along with fakesmc, trackpad, network)

remove that NullCPUPowerManagement.kext

in fact, best you start over and use the proper guide:

Removed the file from EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched. Not sure what to remove from drivers64UEFI.

Lilu.kext and IntelGraphicsFix.kext are in kexts/Other, removed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext.

I tried to replace the previous config.plist with this one: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD3000_1366x768.plist

But the same problem occurs, it shows the loading bar, it loads then it goes to a suspend-like mode. No display.

I could recreate the installer with Unibeast again and use this config.plist, but not sure if that would help. Is there something related to this kind of issue?

Thanks.

Edit: I guess I can try with these RehabMan files even with the HD3000?

For 10.12.5 and HD515/HD520/HD530/HD615/HD620/HD630, you will likely need Lilu.kex and IntelGraphicsFixup.kext:
Lilu.kext: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/lilu/downloads/
IntelGraphicsFixup.kext: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/intelgraphicsfixup/downloads/

uinibeast is for desktops

this is the guide for laptops:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

your hardware profile isn't filled out correctly, you have not put in your intel graphics in there

the guide mentions what files should be in drivers64UEFI (there is an image to look at)

suggest start again from the proper guide:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

and re create your usb installer that way

I did not know that it was for desktop only, didn't see that mentioned in the installation guide or this laptop guide. I will try without Unibeast.

I created the USB installer following the laptop guide but the same occurs, both with and without Intel Injected. I see the Apple logo, the loading bar, it completes loading and then display is turned off.

Attached the CLOVER folder that I created that way.

Your profile still has no laptop hardware details.
Please fix as per FAQ... then I'll look at your files...

Sorry, updated my profile with hardware details. Will this suffice? http://termbin.com/vw04

Chipset is 6-series. Make sure that is reflected in your profile/signature.
Also, no information on Clover legacy vs. Clover UEFI...
