I'm using a real mac running sierra 10.12.5 to make the USB installer, I've tried 2 different drives and its the same outcome either way. it gets to where it is in the screenshot and it just sits there. After awhile the ESD install disk image mounts, I can still see the "disk activity light" on my flash drive but nothing happens.

Googling I found this to be a very common problem with Unibeast 6 and el capitan. I couldn't find anything related to the most recent version which is why I'm posting here.

If you see the disk activity light then it is confirmation that it is working.
It can be a slow process, anything from 10 minutes to an hour - Have patience and don't close any windows that open.

its not about patient
it shows an error
ERROR: can't mount ESP partition (disk2s1) !
Check that the partition is well formated in HFS or Fat32.

To format as HFS use command like:
sudo newfs_hfs -v EFI /dev/rdisk2s1

For format as Fat32 use command like:
sudo newfs_msdos -v EFI -F 32 /dev/rdisk2s1

Don't hijack another user's thread - You don't even have the same problem.

Did you solve this? I'm having the same issue and can't find the solution.

I just went through this and it just took a very long time. It appears to have eventually succeeded, but it hung at a certain spot near the beginning of the progress bar for pretty much the whole time. Maybe something like 40 minutes.
