IOHDAFamily.kext is not typically patched. Restore to vanilla.
Your WiFi is not recommended...
All kexts you need should be installed to the system volume (read post #2 of the main laptop Clover guide).

But these are not related to my problem.

Hello, berkcankaracaa61,
Now we have v14, I haven't checked it but it seems it works even better. Maybe tomorrow I'll have time to check it. It's great, because with Sierra we can have WIFI (this didn't happen on El Capitan)!
Hi again, I am using V13 kext but I am having a freezing problem. Computer occasionally freezes. If you are using V14, can you share with config file? Thank you.
lastly, do you have original AirPortAtheros40.kext?

Hello, here you have some vanillas you may need.

V14 with only one kextstopatch, I told you that some posts ago, check it.

I have a 128 GB SSD instead of the 20 GB, so, no need to create a Fusion Drive, I don't know if you can change the SSD from 20 to 128 GB or how much money it can cost but maybe it's an option to consider.

Anyone tried to install high sierra?

Yes, I've installed High Sierra and it works great.

In my case, I made a Clonezilla backup, although I didn't need it.
These are the steps:
1- Create an USB bootable High Sierra installer. In my case, I did it using the Dosdude1 utility.
2- Backup some kexts: wifi ones, ApplePS2SmartTouchPad if you have an ELAN trackpad, AppleHDA kext... Basically, the ones you have in S/L/E.
3- Boot your S3 and tell it to boot from the USB drive (High Sierra-HS installer).
4- Follow the installer and install HS on the unit/partition where you have Sierra.
5- Maybe you will need an USB mouse. Don't know why but I need to restart the S3 and begin with the installation again because trackpad wasn't detected; neither USB mouse when connected in the middle of the process.
6- Boot your now recently installed HS and check what's not working. You will need to reinstall the modified kexts you had into S/L/E (the ones you copied in step 2). Rebuild caches (from Terminal, or using Kext Utility).
7- That's all! I haven't changed my Sierra Clover version (it was r4069), the HS installer hasn't deleted Clover folder... The only thing I needed to change was the Atheros kext - use v21 instead of v16. Don't know why but it seems 10.12-v21 kext works with HS but 10.13-v21 doesn't.

I feel like HS works better and faster than Sierra, it seems to run smoother.

Have a nice day, and if you install HS, please tell it to me! How is it working to you?

Hi,
First of all I succeeded in establishing a high sierra, everything works smoothly, but I did it by upgrading. I want to do a clean installation but I am having trouble creating an image. Can you explain in more detail how you created the image? I have successfully write the high sierra with Dosdu1 utility, but the system does not see USB.

Hello,

When you say "trouble creating an image" you want to say with cloning the HDD/SDD as a backup? If this is the case, I used Clonezilla.
The way I created an installer for High Sierra (HS) it was using the Dosdude1 utility. 1st, I created a GPT-GUID USB drive; 2nd, I used the utility; 3rd, I installed on the USB Clover r4243; 4th, I copied kexts from Sierra's /EFI to it and booted from it.
Later, I realised I could boot from HDD/SDD Clover and do the HS installation.
Curiously, it seems HS doesn't delete and recreate (remake) S/L/E folder, neither L/E folder, so everything was running great.
In fact, I could boot HS using Clover r4049 with no trouble, although I have upgraded it to R4243, leaving everything as it was in the kext folder and using the same config.plist and SDST and so on.
Pros: WIFI much better.
Cons: You lose bluetooth, thanks to emlydinesh not releasing the source code of his BTFirmware...kext; battery status, not showing % by default, it upgrades when you reboot, the system wakes us from sleep, you need to untinck and tick "show percentage" under the baterry symbol in the status bar; finally, I have ELAN kext, from emlydinesh, too, and it sometimes messes up and I have to reboot to recover the control upon my trackpad, who goes crazy, although if I touch it carefully, it's not a problem (you know, emlydinesh has been promising the update of his kexts, BTF... and AppleSmart... from one year or more, but the update's not coming; neither, the source code of his kexts).
EDIT: Trackpad works ok if you tap on it, and don't click on it. Percentage of the battery is now showing right, maybe kexts were not loaded when I wrote this post. So, everything right, except BT.

In my case, WIFI is important, so I'm not going to roll back to Sierra.
