Yes, there is, but the reason I expressly am not supporting them is because there's been a huge mess regarding large-scale data corruption on the Samsungs with those patches. So I can only recommend against going that route (4k sector drives have no such issue).

I'm pretty sure that the only cases of corruption have been when trying to use hibernation (suspend to disk).
But yes, the patch is a complex, multi-part patch, which makes it difficult to prove correctness.
The future should be brighter/easier...

Yeah, I can only imagine how awful waking a computer only to find that it had nuked itself must be.
It's too bad hibernation doesn't work without native NVRAM (at least, that's the leading explanation I've been able to find). I wouldn't even know where to begin looking into that (maybe FakeSMC? I do have dumps of SMC keys for MBP 11,3, 12,1 and 11,4 and I see a key called "HBKP"). :/

EDIT: Wat:

I actually prefer to keep hibernation disabled.
Writing 8GB (or more) to my SSD on every sleep/wake cycle does not correlate with my desire to have my SSD last as long as possible...
But HibernationFixup.kext is something I'd like to experiment with, even if I still don't plan to use hibernation.

Is there a way to allow the system to only hibernate when the battery gets really low? That would be ideal for my use case.

Also, I was looking at lvs1974's other kext, IntelGraphicsFixup; does it do the same thing as FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics?

I could be wrong (haven't really looked into it), but probably not...
Check into pmset/hibernatemode.

No. It does not do the same thing (each fixes a different problem). Source for both is available.

@KNNSpeed, I saw you are using BRCM943602baed on you system. I know it is a bit off topic here, but I need to know if you are experiencing any difficult to connect to some Wi-Fi Routers after returning from sleep.
I have this problem with mine on Sierra even using the Global Country Patch, but I don´t have any problems on El Capitan.

No connectivity issues here. Bear in mind I'm using a Dell card in a Dell laptop, though I know sometimes mixing and matching cards & vendors can cause issues like what you're describing. I also added a 3rd antenna since 3-stream cards generally work best when they can use all the antennas they expect to be supplied with (without going into the technical side of wifi, my connection wasn't quite that good before I added the antenna).

I am using a genuine Dell DW1830 on a Dell Laptop (Inspiron 5557), with 3 antennas and having this problem after sleep, specially when I try to connect to 5Ghz AC routers. Before sleep, it is fine.
If you look here you will see people reporting the same problem on another Dell notebook on Syscl git.
It only occurs on Sierra. El Capitan is fine. Maybe there is something we need to patch on Sierra bcm94360 to get this problem fixed.

Don't forget to disable "Wake for network access" in SysPrefs->Energy Saver.

Again I'm not really having this problem. My old 2010 15" MacBook Pro (and some of my friends' 13") had something similar, which was remedied by tilting the screen inwards slightly. Not totally fixed until a reboot. Apple's always had weird networking bugs (just look at the MBPs from 2013 onwards--for some bizarre reason Apple seems to need to inject AirPort properties like vendor and device-ids in ACPI on wake from sleep); I think that might be a bona fide OS problem.
