FakePCIID_BCM57XX_as_BCM57765.kext does nothing without FakePCIID.kext.

And of course you're right... it works... Thanks!

Hi, is there any chance for a Broadcom 440x Fast Ethernet Card [14E4:170C] ?

Thank you RehabMan! I can confirm it is working with build in Broadcom BCM57781.
My ASRock Z68 Extreme 4 is now working 100% with Appstore, FaceTime and IMessage.
OSX Sierra 10.12.4

Hi, i have an acer VN7-791G with BCM57780 chipset and installed FakePCIID + FakePCIID_BCM57XX_as_BCM57765 and Ethernet is recognized, en0 too but if i plug in the cable internet is not working. The cable is okay because it is working on antoher machine. I dont know really if BCM57780 is supported.

It allowed my adapter (on-board BCM57788) to appear in the 10.12.1 Network System Preference but says the cable is unplugged.

Did you find any solution to this? Does it work with BCM57788? I have identical result and am not sure if I should give up on this and go back to BCM5722 or there is a fix to this.

Hello RehabMan,

here are my problem reporting files, hope you can help me. thanks.

You should install all kexts to the system volume (kext inject is only for installer/recovery).
But other than that, looks fine... device might not be compatible.
