  1. Downloaded Install macOS Sierra.app countless times. Finally gave up on wireless and used a wired connection.
  2. After much research and reading, unless I missed something, decided to create a new topic for an old issue:
  3. Attempted to provided requested debugging information, unfortunately, when reviewing /var/log/install log, I did not find either of the following two strings: "Install: "UniBeast Mac App Store"" or Displaying 'Install Failed' UI.
  4. Please see attached images - Is this a catch-22 ?

Kept downloading Install macOS Sierra.app until checksum of InstallESD was good.

Thanks

Joe

I had the same issue that I couldn't mount InstallESD when creating a sierra UniBeast Drive. After much searching I found a reference to MTU frame sizes. I worked out my optimum MTU setting (plenty online how to do this) and set it in the Network settings on OSX. I then re downloaded the Sierra Install. I then ran Unibeast again and it worked perfectly first time. Given that I haven't had issues with downloads before this surprised me but it clearly impacts these larger file downloads.

Trying to create a USB boot drive for Sierra, using Unibeast 7.1. am getting an error:" Volumes are mounted - make sure neither OS X install ESD or OS X Base System" are mounted on your drive.

on the USB I have nothing.....
any ideas how to resolve this issue...
Thanksa

Thank you.
the solution was to reboot my Mac Air....
once rebooted the installation started.
Thank you again
