What are you trying to do?
What is the issue?
If you have an issue, you must describe it clearly and provide "Problem Reporting" files.

Sorry. Upon a successful run of the "disabling discrete graphics" guide, shouldn't the nvidia card not even show up in system information? (Thus my screenshot). I can provide all the problem reporting files after that question. :) Just curious.

If done correctly, it will not show up.
You need to attach "Problem Reporting" files.

Code:
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
   13 2 0xffffff7f82c2d000 0x66000 0x66000 com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform (5.0) 65E05472-6AE7-3308-8CC8-FA6CB0DB2AEE <12 11 7 6 5 4 3 1>

Code:
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu

[no output]

Rebooting to grab a fresh F4, and then I'll upload EFI/Clover.

Just looking the files you have there, I think it is super likely you forgot DropOem=true.

Gah! Dammit! It's always the little things...

Eureka.

Only one detected! :D . Time to edit post #1.

EDIT: A good edit. The laptop is MUCH cooler to the touch, and the battery life is not noticably draining anymore. THANK YOU for the GUIDE, even though I needed a swift kick every time I didn't follow it correctly. Thank you thank you thank you.

I clicked energy in activity montior... which I now know is a Sierra issue after a search.

The fix is described as such:
Activity Monitor may crash if you select the "Energy" tab. And if you had previously selected that tab, Activity Monitor will crash on startup. You can remove ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist, or set SelectedTab to zero within it to enable use of Activity Monitor again (without use of the Energy tab).

What do I do if ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist isn't an available .plist file? >_>

I'm an idiot. Used "go to folder" this time instead of navigating to it.

You were looking at /Library/Preferences, not ~/Library/Preferences. They are completely different paths...

You have any more questions?

Why yes! Is there a trick to getting three finger gestures working with the voodoops2 kext? It registers it, but I just get the apple error noise every time I try three fingers (i.e.: to bring up expose).

(If fake quoting is against the forum rules, I'm sorry - just a joke if it isn't obvious.) :)
