[Solved]Fixes to Get Full Acceleration on Intel HD Graphics in iMac 17.1

How to make that "Hardware Encoding Support : yes" ? Please anyone help i need steps, im puzzled reading all comments.

I have Z170m D3H and i5 6600k

1) Properly inject your CPU graphics into the clover config file. You need to specify the correct framebuffer for your HD530. Usually the HD530 works with 19120000, but sometimes only with 193B0000, or with others. In the clover folder /kexts / Other, put LiLu v 1.1.1 and IntelGraphickFixup v1.1.2 kexts, + FakeSMC of course.
You should see your graphics with 1536 memory, and run 3D acceleration.

2) Put the shiki kext in / kexts / Other and write in the config clover bootarg -shikigva

3) Reboot and check the hardware acceleration.

Follow the instruction on post number #16

how to check for the list of kext installed? i think i've installed the kexts you've mentioned before

I dont have the following in my config:

DSDT >> Arbitrary
My SSDT contains only 2 "DropOEM" and "Generate"
in my args i have 'dart=0 -shik'gva'

what to type in the terminal to check the hardware acceleration?

Not in DSDT. Devices/ Arbitrary
This is one of the ways to make internal GPU works. (IMEI & iGPU - they must be in in the IOreg)

Simply execute the program in the attachment (double click on the icon)

if you have 3D working - don't worry

You have hardware accel supported. But check it by another program, like MacX Vdeo Converter 6.

Or make a full screen recording using the Quicktime player, and look at the CPU load. It should be low.

Also do any of you experience lag when you resize safari window when you are on facebook?

It's low. I removed the -shikigva argument from the boot, and that's what CPU usage is when recording full-screen video. (I have a screen of 1920 x 1080)
Screenshot21.png
Max is 400% for 4 CPU core. 20% is very low for full screen records.

I do not have lags in Safari on facebook.
Check that the trailers in the iTunes with the protection of the DRM do not freeze. Launch trailers on IMDB and move the mouse pointer over the video, there should be no lags (jumps, freezes). If the DRM trailers are not play, there are lags in the Safari, maybe you need to update Lilu, Shiki and IntelGraphicsFixup kexts again from GitHub to last versions, and for cure its rights.
But if the video playback without lags in iTunes and IMDB traylers, all plays fine, then the problem is in something else.

Hi i dont know what DRM is I just played any trailer on both itunes and IMDB they are both fine. I also tried playing them without -shikigva on my bootargs they still do play fine. My display is 1600 x 900. My system definition is mac mini 2012 does that has something to do with?
