For those who having problems reaching the desktop after update to 12.5 (progress bar stalls at around 80%):

I have learned in the 12.5 update thread that you have to disable IntelInject in clover Boot Options (bc apple changed something in the intel-graphics drivers in 12.5). So no need to add or remove a kext. This worked for me. Maybe we have to disable it also in our config.plist, haven't tried this yet.

@shremi: 7600K draws to much power (95W), the deskmini allows only for a max. of 65W, hence you have to use 7600 without the K.

i7 7700 base-3.6Ghz max-4.2Ghz 4c8t 65W
i5 7600k base-3.8Ghz max-4.2Ghz 4c4t 95W

I am using the i7 7700 without the k, feel very well.
And the deskmini motherboard uses the h110 chipset, which is not able to overclock. So 7600K will work perfectly too.

The asrock support page have the i7-7700k listed along with the i5-7600K in their CPU support list. Lots of performance in such an small package if you ask me.

BTW. Can anybody here test for Metal support with their Kaby Lake iGPU? under Sierra ? macOS says that Metal is supported for my intel HD 630 but the iGPU hangs and crashes with some software such as the satellite view in Maps and most tests in GFXBench Metal. The Metal API identifies my device as "Intel(R) SKL Unknown (low power: no, headless: no)" . That "Unknown" bothers me.

I think that didn't I had that problem with macOS 10.12.3 using the iMac 14,1 def, but the 'bug' persisted with any def after with the 10.12.4 update afterwards. (I settled with the 16,1 def btw, less problems.)

Success. Just got my ASRock Deskmini 110 and got Sierra 10.12.5 running in no time. I have 32G memory on it with two Samsung 850 SSD and the latest Intel Core i7‑7700K Kaby Lake processor. Followed various instructions which I won't be able to repeat again :) But I have a good Carbon Copy backup and I can alternate between the 2 SSD drives when I need to. And forgot, update the latest BIOS to 7.0 and works fine as well.

That being said my HDMI video does not work. I can only bout in DP but if I switch to HDMI then it gets stuck at booting. Anything I missed? Any patch? or setting?

Cheers and thanks

For the HDMI issue try other system definitions. Mine works well with iMac 16,1. Also apply relevant patches to implement HDMI audio .

Thanks mate. That didn't do the trick at all. HDMI video still dead. Ideas? Thanks

Well, you will have to share more info such as your config.plist , /EFI/CLOVER folder kexts installed, etc. Perhaps the graphics section of the forum might be more helpful for troubleshooting your particular issue.

Is sleep mode working or not? Thanks

Absolutely here is my /EFI/CLOVER zip. Not sure if you can spot anything obviously simple I hope. Many thanks again and I will try the graphic forum as well. I started here since we all share the the same hardware :)

Actually I know exactly what I need if anyone got both ports DP & HDMI working in their 110 systems. I think there are 2 patches to map to the right port. See picture bellow. If can anyone share their working config.plist for those 2 lines GraphicsFramebuffer and the respective kext patches it will be really really great. Many many thanks
