Hey blendaman,
I'm also using this configuration for DaVinci, are you going to update to Sierra or to DaVinci 14?
I've bee experiencing a lot of hang outs and freezes since I updated the nVidia driver to 346.03.15f02.
I'm using OSX 10.11.6 and DaVinci 12.5.5.026.
Is everything working fine for you?

Yes. I reccommend both of you upgrade to sierra. I havent used El Capitan for a long time. Sierra seems to run much smoother with less errors.

This is my guide on sierra:

Thank you malki, I'll give it a try when I hace a gap of work, so I can mess with the machine without worry about.

ok sounds good!

Hi guys, last night I was tricked by the OS X updater and somehow the OS restarted to update from 10.11.2 to 10.11.6. OS worked fine but the GPU was out so I got no signal on the monitor. I tried a few stuff and it looks like the only thing that was needed was to update the GPU to build: WebDriver-346.03.15f09 and re-modify the
AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext with the exact same settings. Build seems to work fine so far under 10.11.6 Do you think thats ok?
