macOS10.12.4 Wake up black screen(Only backlight)

I am having the same problem on a Lenovo G50-80 with similar specs (Intel Broadwell 5200U, HD5500, Sierra 10.12.4). On my machine there's a difference though between the two ids. With ig-platform-id=16260006 a few seconds after waking up to a black screen the whole system freezes too. With ig-platform-id=16260002 after a wakeup only the screen is black, the system is still running, even the screen brightness can be adjusted. With 10.12.3 all was fine.
You'd should cut off unneeded videoports, after that, everything is fine with 1626002(4)

How did you patch the framebuffer for ig-platform-id 0x16260002 or 0x16260004? Can you show me your config.plist? Thanks. :)
What do you mean under "patch"?

I just want to know which modification did you apply to ig-platform-id 0x16260002 or 0x16260004 to make it work with HD 5500 on 10.12.4. Was that a modification on framebuffer data in AppleIntelBDWFramebuffer.kext binary or something else? :)

There is NO patches... Simly, 16260006 seems not work in 10.12.4 for EVERY HD5500 owner, so.. The only way to make your black screen back to the normal state is to change ig-platform to the 0x16260004 or other platforms, that will work for you. I have prefered this, because it is most simular to the old one..)

P.S. Check our disscussion with RehabMan in the near thread, there is a lot of info about ig, 10.12.4 and broadwell https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...een-only-backlight.218828/page-5#post-1504363

Hey RehabMan, I have the same card (HD5500) with the same issue. So, changing 16260006 to 0x16260004 would fix my issue too?

Thanks

I cannot predict the future. I admit predicting the future would be awesome though...

You should try it and see what happens.

Let me tell you about the future Marty, it is indeed awesome for some but dangerous for others! You shall not travel to it with the time machine.

I tried it with Clover boot options: Graphics Injector ->
Card DeviceID=1616
Model: Intel HD Graphics 5500_
InjectIntel
FakeID: 0x00000000_
*-platform-id:16260006_

I've changed it as 16260004, 16260004_, 0x16260004 respectively and all of them led blank screen after Apple Logo Loading screen. Guess,it's not working on my end.
