Apologies, missed your post.
AMD does not support audio on the DVI port.
HDMI connector is matched to framebuffer HDMI connector, display is not showing as a HDMI audio device.

I'm not sure if I understand your question. Does it matter what kind of display is connected to the graphics card?
Anyway, it's a Samsung SyncMaster BX2331 (identified by mac as SMBX2331), connected through an HDMI-HDMI cable.

Remove the PEG0 ssdt.
Restart. Reply with new files.

Where did you get SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-HRU4.aml? Remove.
Why is both SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1.aml and SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-2.aml installed?
One or the other, not both.
Install SSDT-HDMI-NVIDIA-PEG0.aml
Reply with new files.

Thanks, will dos o. I have no idea where I have the HDAS-2 and the HRU4. Removed both and will upload new files after installing PEG0 tomorrow morning.

Just to be clear that I don't do it wrong:

I connect my display via HDMI to the IGPU and disconnect DP, then start Mac, install it and reboot with DP connected.

But in some cases, it is not even working with the DP > HDMI. C'mon Nvidia release the new driver already!

The DVI-D > HDMI worked in one of the DVI ports. Wow! So, I am seriously considering returning this video card and trying another one what has more DP and HDMI connections. I do not like the idea of using these adaptors.


I have submitted my files in a previous post. Is there some way to reroute the audio though the DP?

That fixed my Problems at all! All Audio is now working. No idea where I had that HRU4 file, maybe it was causing the problem. After reinstalling PEG0 with all y it's working fine!

If you still need my files to look at it for problems with other people feel free to ask.
