Laptop Compatibility

As far as I know, only some high end MSI models (some with the GT prefix) have the hardware mux to allow user-switching after a reboot. The GS series uses the standard Optimus setup (through Intel HD) and there is currently no way of using Nvidia GPU in OS X.

If you want to get a new laptop to use dedicated GPU under OS X, read my recent finding on dedicated Nvidia GPU to help your research: Nvidia dedicated GPU: G-Sync vs Optimus?
Thanks for tip. I ended up buying a demo 2.7/16GB/512GB MBP 15" Touch bar for the same price I would have spent on the higher end GS63R.

Sounds like really old hardware.
You would need to be more specific about the graphics hardware...

t3200 is an old merom pentium that comes with 4xxx GMA, qe\ci doesn't work, just a little support for 2d acceleration... Useless
However you could install up to mountain lion, using a patched framebuffer of X3100

Ok thanks for your answer. I have a other question but I know it is not right in this thread. Is a Intel core 7 920 suported?

The CPU yes.
But there are other considerations that have to be made regarding other hardware in the laptop (graphics, WiFi, etc).
