Hi, my GPU died (after my cat pissed on my build). I'm considering to get a newer/better GPU like the GeForce GTX 1060.
But I'm not sure if that would fit/work. Can someone help?

I'd get a better/newer cat

The 10 series GPU's should be working soon as nVidia have stated that drivers will be released for them, probably this week.

There are plenty of reports of the Pascal cards working, these are including the 1060 so the only thing you would have to do is check your case dimensions in regards to graphics length but considering your 760 is 300m and a 1060 is around 180mm you should be good to go. You'll require the Pascal based web drivers.

The drivers are now available. Robert De Niro trained Jinx to use the toilet in 'Meet The Parents', problem solved!

Hehe thanks, yes maybe I should consider getting a better cat too Okay so driver/software like it would work, what about the physical size of theses cards, does anyone have experience with the corsair case? I heard from a college that the 10 series cards can be very big.

This looks perfect. I read that I would have to update or change the BIOS driver? Do I have to look for some specific version matching the build?

Do a search to see what models others are using. We only got the drivers 24 hours ago. It is all very new.

I am having audio and wifi issues with my hackintosh. I have read some fixes but I must not be following them right or I have other problems. The problems came when I updated to Sierra. I am unable to use MultiBeast to install the ALC982 or Intel network, I get "The installation failed....check the Multibeast.log". I am on Clover Configurator 4.32.0 and Clover revision 3766 Any information would be helpful, thank you. EDIT: an update to clover revision 4049 fixed my wifi but I still get the error for the audio driver install. Thank you.

SOLVED
1 I was able to manually fix this by going here https://github.com/vit9696/AppleALC/releases/tag/1.1.1 and downloading the latest release of release.zip

2 Using Clover configurator - mount EFI - Check partition - making sure which partition had my proper EFI load on it (my ssd/OS drive which happened to be disk0s1)

3 Using EFI Mounter v3 https://www.tonymacx86.com/resources/efi-mounter-v3.280/ to mount disk0s1

4 Manually pasting/dragging the AppleALC.kext from the recent release in step 1 to the newly mounted EFI folder of EFI-Clover-kexts-Other

5 restart

Hey, thanks alot. What do I have to do after the physical installion of the new card? Rerun Multibeast or just install the nvidia drivers?
