I currently have my 480 at 1375 undervolted.

These 580 don't seem particularly interesting to me. Hopefully vega will show actual decent gains.
If it can perform like a 1080 then it should be a monster card in fcpx.
Do you have a site to get bios, or you prepare your own?

Just look what i found in the latest AppleGMUXDriver.kext:

It may be possible, that soon we will have a new AMDRadeonX4150.kext for AMD RX Accelleration. You may make your own thoughts about it.

Regards...
Mork vom Ork

PS:AppleMUXControll will be only used by Apples Laptopseries to use IntelGFX as boot GFX and switch to dedicated GFX after reaching the desktop. I did some tests over easter to make it work with Hackintosh... but failed. No luck to make it work, even
with DSDT-edits. GMUX will be seen by IORegistryExplorer, but kext never gets loaded:

Are you saying that rx 480can be supported OOB?

This may be useful or just tell you some information about your monitor / av equipment.
It is a ruby script I extended based on:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_Display_Identification_Data

Put it on your desktop, remove the .zip ending (it is NOT zipped, the file uploader will not load certain file types.).

Open Terminal and navigate to your desktop using the command 'cd ~/Desktop' (without the quote marks) and press the return key.
(*This next part may or may not be needed, it will not hurt to go ahead and do it anyway.)
Then set the execute permission for the script by typing in the command 'chmod +x edid_to_eld.rb' [without using the ' marks] and then press return. Then type 'ls -la' (no quote marks) and press return. The file listing should have three x-(es) by this file's
name.

Then type the command 'ruby edid_to_eld.rb' [again, without the ' mark] and press return.

You should get a lot of information about the resolutions your monitor supports as well as the audio capabilities of your monitor. In this case, monitor also means connected av receivers.

All of the usual disclaimers and restrictions apply.

Did you ever remember how you got audio for your RX 460 working?
