Try Heaven and Valley as they are GPU benchmark programs, unlike the other benchmark programs.

Are the Uningine scores where they should be, or a little low compared to Windows?

Don't know as I don't have/use Windows.

Just tested flashing a RX 580 rom from https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/191263/sapphire-rx580-8192-170320-1 to my Sapphire Nitro+ OC RX 480 and WOW Luxmark score

You're using old Luxmak 2.1, no wonder for this quadtriple result scoring. We already had this some months ago in this backlog ;)

You remember as well, I'd like to see the Ball 3.1 score. Still that's impressive.

I'd be a little bummed at this. My pentium with dual 480s beats this titanXP, this is the king of cards.
...

Now that the RX 580 and RX 570 (no RX 560 out yet ...) are released, the manufacturer's web-sites are listing a lot of varieties of the cards. (Look at for example the sites for Gigabyte and XFX.) This new generation apparently can be highly over-clocked away from the reference model. I wonder how long it will take for the modders to unlock those reference cards.

I saw the 1500 MHz video but it that was with liq nitrogen LN2. Brocksbackups has his 480 at 1450mhz with the bios flash in that benchmark above. That's just a 50 below the LN2.

I currently have my 480 at 1375 undervolted.

These 580 don't seem particularly interesting to me. Hopefully vega will show actual decent gains.
If it can perform like a 1080 then it should be a monster card in fcpx.

That's what I'm hoping for, at least 1080 performance level. The 580 makes sense if upgrading from an older HD 7xxx series or R9 series, but not for current 480 owners.
