Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems

Disable integrated graphics in your BIOS settings - Set PEG as Primary.

Sorry about that, I'll make sure to post image directly here next time.

I tried setting my primary graphics to PCIe, and disabled multi-monitor support (which basically force enables the onboard graphics) in my BIOS, but without any luck. I still can't get MacOS to recognise my GPU.

At a guess it could be Problem 6.

here you are. bit of a mess, i used clover config to generate a new one and then re-added all my needed edits.

Edit

So some weird things... with clover set to nvidiaweb false and inject intel on booting with igfx, OS X recognizes the card fully, and if I plug in (still connected to igfx) a second hdmi cable to the card and my tv I can get it working. I was able to switch to it independently but then I tried to change it to 3240x2160 and then I got no signal. Wasn't able to revert with just the card on and that's when I started trying with the multiple hdmi cables. My tv is running of the cable connected to the igfx the whole time

Yes your config is a mess and wasn't generated by Clover Configurator or Multibeast. It contains lots of sections that repeat and are commented out. You'll likey have issues getting 4k over HDMI because macOS doesn't support HDMI 2.0 natively.

Did you try upgrading to 10.12.4 and install corresponding web driver? I thought pascal support only available starting this version:
10.12.4 (16E195) - 378.05.05.05f01

I've cleaned up my config, tried various SMBIOS's, tried the blackscreen fixes, updated my bios(which fixed my power management issues, but sadly not my graphical ones), and I still haven't seemed to get this card working properly.

I'm going to try returning the card and getting something different... Going to try going with a Gigabyte or EVGA 1050ti 4GB instead. From the things I've read in the forms and he buyers guide, people seem to have the most success with those.

Hi Guys,

also have Problems getting my GeForce GTX 980 Ti running.

Board: Gigabyte Z170X Ultra Gaming
CPU: Intel 6700k 4,0 GHz
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti
OS: MacOS Sierra 10.12.4

Installed actual Version of Webdriver, BIOS is up 2 date. Tried nearly every setting and can't find a solution.
config.plist and bootlog.log.txt attached. Thx in advance!

Did you do the steps in Problem #6?

Yes i did! System Report NVidia Geforce with 7MB...

Does it display the Nvidia driver as being selected in the menu bar or the driver manager?
