Black Screen After Updating to 10.12.5

I'm on 10.12.4 with a GTX 970, updated to the latest drivers. Since then, after the computer is idle for a bit when moving the mouse again it doesn't freeze but it's really really really laggy for a minute and two and then goes back to normal. No sleep, no screensaver.

Anyone seeing this?

Aside from the usual iBooks bug, is anyone else getting bad performance after waking from sleep? Curious if its an issue with nvidia's beta driver, or the fact that I'm using iMac17,1 w/ AGDPFix. 1060 here btw.
I got bad performance after waking from sleep, 1060 too.

I've had very mixed luck with system sleep. The first time it slept and came back up, I got really nasty artifacts like large fluttery blinky white bars across the top 1/3 of the screen. Slept, back up, no issues. Slept, back up, mouse cursor got weird as I moved it around, then the problem went away. No repeat of the fluttery blinky bars since then. I'm on dual displays and if the dock was on the left screen and a browser window was on the right and I minimized the browser window into the dock with the genie animation the browser window would leave a ghost image on the right monitor for a second, while experiencing the fluttery blinky artifacts. Hasn't repeated that particular behavior since either.

I have tried a few times, and it's a pity that I don't have such luck. ;(

Haven't had an issue on my end either. 1060 6GB user, running a single display over DVI output, waking from sleep works fine for me. Though I don't try it too often because of my Z97 setup and the ALC1150 is wonky when it comes to waking from sleep, even after installing Codec Commander (Though it's still usable in the end).

I've had the display occasionally display the slightest 'flickering', but it wasn't noticeable unless I pixel peeped. Even then, it only lasted for a few seconds and faded away.

Is anyone having flickering/blinking after wake?
Experiencing it with GTX 1060 6Gb on 14,2 system definition.
Yes, getting flickering black screen sometimes with random corrupted graphics in the black screen after wake. GTX 1060 6GB but different system def.

Anyone know what smbios to use on a Z77 mobo with i3770k. Just upgraded my gtx780 to a 1060.

Got it working and booting, no issues. But the benchmarks are a lot worse than my gtx780.

I think my current smbios is iMac14,2. Would MacPro5,1 get more out of this GPU?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but this is a result of installing the nvidia driver, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Don't working GTX 1070, see my config.plist attached.

After install emuvariableuefi, driver load, but I get black screen, any suggestion ?

You're supposed to setup System Parameters like it's described in the first post : https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/new-method-for-enabling-nvidia-web-drivers-in-clover.202341/

This also can be done with the help of Clover Configurator (CC) if you are using Clover EFI Bootloader, that you can find at mackie100projects. CC loads your EFI partition and config.plist file from the EFI folder. In the System Parameters tab it can be easily switched on and off. Save and reboot and you can find that Clover loads macOS with the Nvidia Web Driver enabled .
You can install new *.efi drivers too with the CC tool.

This suggests that you have installed the alternate NV drivers for your system.

You rolled back to the 367.15.10.45.f01 driver? Unfortunately I am having the same problem but that roll back doesn't fix anything.

That's what I did to confirm it. I'm now on the Apple driver - GTX760 does works OOTB with the Apple driver. I didn't run into the Nighshift Issue, my Seiki TV doesn't show the Night Shift option!
