[SOLVED] Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080/1070

I'm using the new driver with Maxwell Titan X card. I don't notice any changes. Everything seems to be working as usual. I have a problem with my Dell 5K booting into 2560 x 1440 instead of 5120 x 2880, but that is easily fixed by reconnecting the DisplayPort cables. I had been able to boot directly into 5K before (maybe with an earlier Clover?).

I haven't tried audio yet. I don't think there's been any change to that. You probably still need to follow one of the HDMI audio guides, or try the HDMIAudio.kext. Even so, audio may not appear for some of the ports (and I don't think it works for the Dell 5K monitor because of the dual DisplayPort cables?). Looking at the HDA nodes, there are 4 connectors, and only 3 appear to work in Mac OS (DP1, DP2, HDMI). The other two only work in Windows (DVI, DP3). Windows can output audio from any of the 5 connectors (up to 4 displays). I don't know how that's possible if the HDA only knows about 4 connectors. Anyway, that's an issue for a different thread.

I haven't tried HDMI yet. I got kernel panics in previous driver versions when trying to connect a 4K HDMI 2.0 display. Windows can output a 4K 60Hz HDMI signal from both the HDMI connector and the DVI connector.

I haven't tried VGA yet. VGA works on a Nvidia 680 card in my Mac Pro 2008, but not on my Titan X in a Hackintosh with previous driver version. It works in Windows.

I'll have to try all that with my Titan X card (and also 1070 card) later this week.

joevt, I fixed the audio problem with the vodoohda software. Install it, reboot, choose the third digital out (HDMI) option and you should be ready to go.

You have the same problem with de resolution aswell...Do you have any problem with your mouse pointer changing between the left/right part of the screen? This is driving me crazy!

Hello. I want to install Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4 on my PC as dual boot on separate drives. I already have Windows 10 on the another drive. I have GTX 1050 Ti graphic card, and because webdriver for pascal architecture is now available, am I wondering if I can use this driver during install, and not using Intel HD integrated graphic card. Can you tell me, if I can put this webdriver in Clover directly?

My configuration:
Motherboard: ASRock H110M-DVS R3.0
CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 3.00GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
RAM: Corsair 16Gb DDR4 2132MHz
SSD: Silicon Power S55 120Gb
HDD: Toshiba 1 TB

I'm sure others will correct me as I have not done this myself but my understanding is that you do your install with nv_disable=1 so that the system uses VESA/low res graphics drivers. Get through the macOS install, then install the web drivers and reboot without nv_disable=1.

Holly sh*t, it's worked finally, rip my hopeless!!!!!

Since Sierra, latest Clover and Nvidia Pascal web drivers, usage of nv_disable=1 is not required.

Can you explain the procedure, because this is my first hackintosh.

What a surprise! Of course this comes right after I build a mini-ITX JUST for Hackintosh... Well I just pre-ordered my 1080 Ti FTW's so I guess one of my 1080's can go in the Hack (yeah I know I'm an a-hole). Good news for everybody! I wonder what took so long... I also wonder if this has anything to do with Phil Schiller's recent comments on embracing the Pro community and the Mac Pro redesign... Hmmm.

I wonder if the pascal gpus will work in a real mac such as the mac pro 5,1. I would love to have a gtx 1080ti working on my mac pro 5.1
It works

Just to confirm, even with the Nvidia web drivers, un-flashed cards still run at PCIe 1.0 speeds in a Mac Pro, correct?

So... I probably missing something.

Have a clean Sierra install, trying do magic things like @hagop, but its not working.
Can't turn off SIP and install AGDPfix. Setting 0x14 or 3 or 67 won't helping, and fix still saying SIP ENABLED.
Drivers have installed, and obliviously I have black screen at loading system. Using usb-flash for loading now, and don't know what to do. Mac ID is 14.2, GPU - MSI 1080 Z. Anyone help, please?

@tharealmb I see u have same configuration like me, how u make it work?
