My HDMI audio was working great on my 750 Ti.

I updated the NVIDIA graphics driver and installed a 1080. All is working on the video side, but I lost HDMI audio :(

Not sure where to start to get it working again.

I lost my HDMI audio too after upgrade Nvidia drivers for 1080 , I was using clover hdmi .
I have try to reinstall the clover hdmi script 3 times and still not having any hdmi output.

I lost nvidia HDMI audio in two ways; running MSI Gaming M7, when I updated to the most recent December BIOS HDMI audio (using 10.12.3) stopped working. So I reverted to the previous BIOS and HDMI audio worked. When I upgraded to 10.12.4 (on the old BIOS version) HDMI audio stopped working completely.

I downloaded VoodooHDA.Kext v2.8.9 and HDMI audio works! I don't know why the ssdt fails with 10.12.4 (and with the updated MSI BIOS). Seems that the .aml file needs a rewrite and needs to be recompiled.

I tried using VoodooHDA and it DID bring back audio via HDMI, but I don't have a pref pane for it and when I go to Applications and open VoodooHdaSettingsLoader nothing opens up as far as I can see.

A weird side effect is now I have 4 Digital-Out (HDMI) options for output devices. Only one actually works though.

Anyone know how to remove the non working ones?

Try HDMIAudio.kext instead of VoodooHDA? I've tried it with previous Nvidia web driver and it got audio working from 3 ports on my Titan X (DP1, DP2, HDMI) but not the other two (DVI, DP3). VoodooHDA only shows 4 options, so I don't know how Windows is able to output audio to each of the 5 ports.

we have to wait for toleda

Same thing here. Tried a few other solutions for HDMI Audio but not working.

I have fear to install the Voodoo Kext , because I am in my first week in hackintosh , everything is working in awesome way .
My first installation I installed Voodoo and my computer was gone because of kernel panic , I don`t want to pass throw that again ,all my development environment are installed again....

Anyone have another solution ? os is safe to test voodoo again ?
