Probably some incompatibility of your screen..., as macOS seems to want to set incorrect settings for it...
If you could determine what IGPU register is not being set correctly, you might be able to do something in IntelBacklight.kext to correct it. That would require reading the IGPU datasheet, dumping registers, speculating on differences before sleep vs. after sleep, and implementing code to set it in IntelBacklight.kext.

Hi Rehab Man,
Thank you for your incredible job and your endless patience.
Following this guide I managed to make everything work on my ProBook 430 G3, except for Audio.
I did read several times all the related posts in this thread trying all the possible solutions without success..
I hope you can help me to find the error that cause me the issue with the audio.
OS Running: Sierra 12.4
Thanks!

Run ./pre-patch_hda.sh as per post #1, "Known Problems", "Audio".
Then reboot.

Edit: Figured out the information I needed from the patchmatic -extract files...
Try with current repo.
Changes are to SSDT-HACK and using SSDT-RP01_PXSX_RDSS instead of SSDT-RP01_PEGP_RDSS.
Thanks this worked now there is another new issue system fan is making too much noise ( guess its running fast more than usual) when I disable discrete graphics in the bios this stops ,what could be causing this ?? have also installed windows ,when I boot using windows system fan is running normal no noise at all

Run ./pre-patch_hda.sh as per post #1, "Known Problems", "Audio".
Then reboot.
Thanks for the quick reply.
I've ran the pre-patch_hda.sh but it doesn't solve the problem.
What about the kexts in your repo called AppleHDA_ProBook.kext and AppleHDAHCD_ProBook.kext ?
