Hi, in need of some help.

I'm trying to install macOS Sierra on an internal SSD on my custom built PC but the installation gets stuck on the Apple Logo and the loading bar. I've followed the instructions listed here (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/#download) but, as mentioned get stuck on "Step 4".

One potential problem is that I may not have configured the UEFI Bios settings correctly (from "Step 3"). Also, not sure if its relevant, but since i am using a GTX 1070, i have elected not to choose a "Graphics Configuration" in "Step 2" point 14.

Any assistance would be really great, thanks.

Here are the system details of my computer:

Motherboard: Gigabyte H170 Gaming 3
CPU: Intel Core i5 6400
GPU: GTX 1070

Thanks a lot, appreciate the help. If I install another (compatible) graphics card in addition to the 1070 would it be possible to then install macOS Sierra? What is the latest graphics card that is compatible with a Hackintosh?

Not necessary, use the Intel HD Graphics 530

Thanks for your help. I was just wondering how i can direct the Sierra installation to ignore the GTX 1070 and use the cpu's built in Intel HD Graphics 530 as you suggested.

You need to set the Initial Display Output in your BIOS to IGFX
