Hi guys, few weeks ago i decided to try to assemble an hackintosh for use primarily as photo editing machine, and i've choose this components:

MB: asus z170i pro gaming
CPU: I5 6600
GPU: no gpu
RAM: 16 gb (8x2) Vengeance DDR4 3000mhz
PSU: Corsair SF 450

The assemble was pretty easy but i'm struggling a lot with the OSX installation... I tried to install Sierra and El capitan about 15 times but my best result was on El capitan (seems all work except wifi, audio and some problem with monitor resolution options). So i decided to ask you after a big search on the forum, there are someone with my configuration that can help me to install Sierra (or El capitan) in the right way?

Thanks!

If you could post the following details readers can understand your problem better and would be able to assist you:
  • How did you create your macOS Sierra installer?
    • If you have successfully used all the steps EXACTLY as listed in the Unibeast GUIDE from Tonymac, readers may consider the USB Installer OK
  • List the BIOS options you have selected to boot the USB installer
    • This will help the readers if any changes need to be made in BIOS setup for a successful boot.
  • What Boot Arguments (Boot flags) you have selected to boot your USB installer?
    • This will help the readers to suggest any changes are needed in Boot flag selection for a successful boot
  • Boot in Verbose mode boot ( with -v boot flag) and upload screen image of any problem boot screen so that readers can understand what might have caused the booting problem.

Try posting in the Post- Install Audio, Networking and Graphics sections of the Forum.
