I also just built a Hackintosh. Followed those guides. Everything is working great, just my issue is that my config.plist file gets messed up after adding in the patch for WiFi in text editor.

WiFi works, but clover can't open the file.

How did you add the text and save the file?
I'm using TextEdit.app default installed in os x but not clover.
Paste the code to the right place and restart.

The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.
Please update your profile (personal details) with your build (Motherboard, CPU and Graphics Card).
I have a problem to install nvidiadriver. After reboot defaultsytem driver runs
Setup emulated NVRAM to store the nvda_drv=1 boot flag in boot-args.
See Problem 6 of Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems
Install EmuVariableUefi-64 and RC Scripts

I figured it out.
Instead of pasting the code, I used PlistEditPro, I added the Hex key of what to find and replace.
I realized after that I actually could have done it in clovers in the KextstoPatch section.
Posting from WiFi with a working config.plist.
Thanks

I finally finished my first hackintosh...sort of...
The only thing that doesn't work is the front panel audio. The back panel audio (direct mobo connection) works flawlessly. But not the front one.
Any thoughts?

  • El capitan install
  • i7 6700
  • 16GB ram
  • HD 530

I have read a lot of people reporting this issue. I do not recall seeing a fix.

My Hackintosh is a small form factor, so there is only rear audio which is working.

It's done!

Which guide did you follow for iMessage, and is your system definition 17,1?

Nothing was really working properly before. So, I started over. I started from this guide, for el capitan, using only the Internal graphic card hd 530. When everything was running fine, I did follow this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/direct-update-to-macos-sierra-using-clover.201465/

And again only using the HD 530 graphic card.

Last but certainly not least, I did use the guide for enabling AMD RX 4XX cards in Sierra: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/enabling-amd-rx-4xx-cards-in-sierra.201364/

Edit: Yes, my system definition is iMac 17,1.
