Hi,
so I´ve got my Gigabyte x99 UD5, 5930K PC to run El Capitan great using the guide from Rampage Dev. And I have changed CPUID to 0x0306E4. Everything seems to work great except that Logic Pro X is behaving weirdly. The notes are freezing when I play or record, but seems to be fine when I play the tracks. And the notes are cut off randomly, even with very small projects. This makes my hackingtosh unusable. Does anyone know why that is happening? And can it be fixed?

Thanks in advance!

No reason to the keep having the same discussion, still think your problem is the ASRock bios. Similar issues with EVGA Micro-2 but might take another run at it this weekend just for giggles. USB Bios XCHI - SmartAuto, EHCI Handoff - Disabled.

Were you able to have any successes with the EVGA Micro-2 ? I seem to continuously run into "couldn't allocate runtime area" or the notorious ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ line and freeze at kernel loading. :(

one of you tried Sierra yet? because my machine always run on 2Ghz or it freezes (Xeon E5-2683v3 on ASRock X99 Extreme4) it works with Xeon E5-2658v4 but the other this is a ES and the v3 is OEM also the v3 has higher turbo (if it works....)

I'm running Sierra and it's my best most reliable build so far - shutdown kernel crash resolved on its own. I don't know your processor though

Care to maybe share your Clover install EFI folder and Clover settings? I'm having issues with booting into install although I've set up a fix for 5960X which works...
