[Guide] Dell Inspiron 15 7559 (Skylake, i7-6700HQ, Intel HD 530) Using Clover

Not open for further replies.
Successfully installed 10.2.3 following this guide.

But now I have a strange problem: every time i boot windows10(hdd) from clover(ssd), the time to show is always out of sync with the real time, such as 11/06/2018.When i wake up windows from standbying, the time is also unusual(will be faster).

So for the normal use, I must reset the time after booted or choose windows boot manager. But they are not active ways.

Have any one had this problem? How to solve it?

Hi,my cpu is i5-6300HQ
I use the BIOS 1.1.8/1.2.0/1.2.1 usually make this worth
----OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi
Using Reloc block: no, Hibernate wake: no-------

It make this computer can't boot Sierra.
But if I replace drivers64UEFI again and again I have low chance getting into system
One day I find this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/dell-7559-i5-6300hq-el-capitan-installed-success.210276/ and I try to use BIOS 1.0.1 to boot it(without patched and external device)
It worked!!!
But this same patched can't work on BIOS 1.0.1(but worked on BIOS 1.1.8/1.2.0/1.2.1) at the same laptop.
I patch this *.aml again follow this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...tan-hackintosh-dual-boot-with-windows.196138/,it also woring

Does anyone see an issue with not upgrading the SSD using this guide? I was hoping to get by with the 128gb sandisk z400s that this laptop came with. If I run in to any storage issues, I would just use an external. I would have loved to go the dual boot route (El Capitan and Win10 on the ssd) but I don't know if that would work if I used the 1TB Western Digital drive (in this laptop) for installing WinOffice programs. Sorry...rambling. I'll ask my questions:

1. If just installing El Capitan on SSD can I keep the one I already have (128gb sandisk z400s)?
2. If I did keep the same SSD, installed El Capitan on the SSD, then installed WIN10 on the other 1 tb drive, how would I boot to Win10? Does Clover ask me when I boot up?
3. If I went the dual boot route, El Capitan and Win10 on the SSD, would I be able to install Win Office programs on the 1 TB drive and also be able to access videos and pictures when working on the El Capitan side?
4. Should I just do the Johnnnnnnny dual boot guide? (I think I'll miss the boot up speed if I install Win10 1tb drive)

128gb is a little small for both Win10 and OS X. But if you're careful with what you put on the system drive (in both Win/OS X), it can work.

No matter where you decide to install Win10, it is still "dual boot". Clover will detect Win10 no matter what device it is on.

OS X provides readonly access to NTFS volumes.

Thank you always for your quick responses. Readonly wouldn't work for me. I think I'm just about ready. Just one more question before I start the process.
Which guide do I use if I'm going to install El Capitan on the SSD and Windows on the 1tb drive? This guide doesn't mention if that's possible.

There are no good solutions for read/write NTFS in OS X/macOS.
FAT32 is a possibility, although it has limitations.
exFAT has less limitations, but the OS X/macOS implementation is known to be buggy.

The procedures are essentially the same. I'm not sure why you think it matters where you install Windows...
You use the Windows installer to install Windows.
You use the OS X installer to install OS X.
You use Clover to boot either.
