Thanks again.

Does the 4k screen add too much of a hassle factor? This one at the MS store seems like a nice price.
Not too much. I have the exact laptop bought from the MS store running El Capitan followed the guide at here which I think is based on this one. Except what's not working metioned in the guide, touchscreen doesn't work either, but I don't care.

Besides following the guide for the FHD edition, additional steps required for me to successfully install El Captian and fix some issues:
  1. Add this to config.plist to boot the installer(see the attachment):
    <key>FakeID</key>
    <dict>
    <key>IntelGFX</key>
    <string>0x012345678</string>
    </dict>
  2. In SMBIOS section, choose MacBookPro11,1. In the guide I followed it says MacBook 11,1 but it doesn't work for me. In this guide it says MacBook 11,2 but the picture shows "MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, late 2013)". Not sure it is a typo or a mismatched picture.
  3. Do pixel clock patch use the tool at https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2.git after installation. Without this patch, El Captian can boot successfully, but the screen doesn't show anything. After installation, you can boot the installed El Capitan using the clover used to boot the installer, then do the pixel patch.
  4. Most of the time, iMessage doesn't work although the guide says it does. I have to fix it following the guide at here. I suggest you read this guide before changing SMBIOS so you will not waste your time changing SMBIOS twice or more.
At last, I strongly suggest to do syntax check on config.plist using a XML syntax checker if you manually edit the file, because I wasted too much time on a manually-edited config.plist which had syntax issue and it turns out that clover simply ignores config.plist with syntax error and be silent on this.

Attached my configs for your reference(I have striped SMBIOS info away, you need to generate your own using clover configurator). Hope the info helps if you're going to buy the UHD edition.

Hello, I followed the instruction. I was able to boot from USB and install Sierra. But after doing the MultiBeast step then tried to boot from HD, the os crashed at line "AppleIntelLpssControl.kext" and showed a stop sign. Then Both USB and HD will fail to boot the installed Sierra. What went wrong? After studying some other posts, someone say it might be a ACPI error, but what exactly and how to fix? I have no Clue. Help please!

I have a stock Dell 7559, i7 6700HQ, 8G RAM. GTX960M. Nothing changed. Even Wifi is still the standard one.
