My thunderbolt experiences with this board F21 Bios flashed:

After shutdown > power up, thunderbolt doesn't seem to fully activate, i have a Apple thunderbolt display attached to it using an Apple thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter. After shutdown only the display works, have to unplug power to get the integrated devices working (facetime camera, firewire, ethernet, audio, usbhub).

This seems to be a Motherboard/Bios issue because it is consistent between Linux and MacOS.

Using No security/boot settings in bios

Yes. Everything works as expected. Had to recreate DSDT to get thunderbolt working. And strangely Maciasl 1.4 could not read the DSDT file. Had to use Rehab Man's Maciasl which uses iasl 6.1. Hope it helps.
Hi I have the same board as you and having problems with thunderbolt, Would you mind sharing your DSDT with me? thanks

Hello
Could you please Share your DSDT?

Hello
Could you please Share your DSDT?

I didn't use a custom DSDT, managed to fix the thunderbolt issues as well by reflashing both the bios and the firmware bios

After flashing F21 on this board my Hackintosh is booting and running extremely slow. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this?

I'm considering to buy this motherboard to build up my hackintosh, can you guys recommend it? I have 2 thunderbolt displays(LG Ultrawide and Apple's Thunderbolt Display) and I need them to work with this setup. Is there any problems, like not working USB's, Audio/etc? I saw in this thread sleep doesn't work, is it fixable? Thanks in advance

I have the setup running pretty well at the moment (including audio, sleep etc), one thing that might not work for you is chaining the displays if you plan on using a dedicated GPU (only one of the thunderbolt ports seems to output the pass trough DisplayPort data so you have to somehow use that one to power both displays)

@dmijic did you notice any lag issues when installing 32 gigs of ram? my setup was only reading 16 of the 32 gigs. I switched the ram positions, it reads 32, but now lags horrible with Sierra. I 'm going to try El Cap soon.

Did you finally get Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 working correctly?

If so, which cable are you using for this?

LG monitor also has DP1.1/1.2 input. In worst case scenario(if thunderbolt chain won't work), do you think it will be possible to connect Apple's Display trough Thunderbolt and LG display with DisplayPort OUT on motherboard/dedicated GPU card?
I just have never built hackintosh PC yet, and my experience is limited to iMac and macbook computers so far.

That should be possible. Just install windows first to upgrade the thunderbolt firmware and you're good to go
