You can set kernel flag "-f" in Clover options.
Or you can use a version of Clover that has it.

Thanks, however that didn't seem to make a difference.
I tried that several times, rebooted normally with caches, etc...

Here is my kextcache output:
Code:

Use a version of Clover that has boot without caches.
Or try pre-patch_hda.sh that is in the repo (just added it, same usage as with Probook).

Have anyone updated clover to 3994?
After the update I found problems with HD4600, I visualized only 7MB of VRAM and had several glitches.

The pre-patch_hda.sh didn't help, but maybe I did it wrong, did I need to boot from HD? The config.plist was correctly in place so I figured it didn't matter if I booted from USB.

Regarding boot without caches, as far as I'm aware that's just not possible with Sierra. Do you think installing El Capitan will solve my problem?

I don't know what you're aware of, but it should be possible to boot Sierra without cache using -f
How do you know the config.plist is in place? And yes, you have to boot from HD
Why not use a clover version which allows you to boot without cache?

It does not matter, but you must have the correct config.plist in place and must have all files in place for AppleHDA (*.zml.zlib).
If you have an issue, read post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Kernel flag -f still does something. But with AppleHDA pre-patched you don't need it.

I'm having issues with the HDMI out. Both screens flicker and go in and out. When unplugging from the display the laptop continues this behavior until reboot. Am I missing a driver or kext or is this function not supported?

Also, please fill out your hardware details in your profile/signature as requested in the guide.
