[Guide] Lenovo IdeaPad U330/U430/U530 using Clover UEFI

Status
Not open for further replies.
Hello, I figured out what the problem is. When I cleaned up /EFI/CLOVER (deleted it and reinstalled) it worked with only the config without SSDT and SSDT-HACKED.aml.. But when I do make and make install and the ./ssdtPRGen.sh it stops working (the keyboard and mouse) I'll try to provide everything you need.

Your trackpad is ELAN. This is covered in post #1.

Also, you did not follow the guide.

And you did not provide the files requested in post #1, "Problem Reporting".

Your bootlog (extracted from ioreg) shows you're still booting from USB:
Code:
0:100 0:000 SelfDevicePath=PciRoot(0x0)\Pci(0x1D,0x0)\USB(0x0,0x0)\USB(0x1,0x0)\HD(1,MBR,0x00000000,0x2,0x64000) @98923A98

Hey together,
I`m actually trying to install OS X Sierra on my Lenovo U430 Touch but am stuck on the installation Screen because its like flickering (you can see at the picture)!
Can anyone help me?
Just followed the guide and was working around for hours but cannot fix it ...
Had El Capitan working on my notebook some time before!

No EFI/Clover attached.
But a guess: You didn't enable legacy boot in BIOS.

Hey RehabMan,
thanks for your help!
Enabling legacy boot didn't fix the problem (i think because i installed clover efi version on my USB-Drive.
I attached the Clover folder as zip without themes folder!
By the way: i can use os x installer when screen has horizontal lines, so its not frozen or like this.
But i can't read a thing.

Thx for help!

Nothing attached.

Sorry didn't work somehow :/
Now here it is!

This looks fine. Issue is very likely that legacy boot is not enabled.
If you don't know how to enable it properly, use an invalid ig-platform-id (0x12345678). It can be set in the Clover GUI.

This worked fine for me.
Now my U430 Touch is running fine with Sierra :)
