Hi,

I had installed Sierra following the guide on this forum (first time with a Hackintosh) and it had installed perfectly and worked for a few days. I then had to move my machine to a different country (flight check-in) and disassembled and then reassembled it again in a week.

Now, when I boot in, I can get to the Clover menu but when I move forward, I get stuck at the Apple logo. When using verbose mode, it gets stuck at '++++++++++++' :

Could someone please let me know what might be wrong?

@nir.s, please update your profile (personal details) with your build (Motherboard, CPU and Graphics Card).
The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.

Make sure that CsrActiveConfig is set to 0x67 not 0x03 in Clovers config.plist.
If that doesn't work, try using OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi instead of OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi.

Thanks for your response. Since I am completely new to Hackintosh building process, could you guide me on how do I go about editing the Clovers config.plist?

I saw this article which mentions mounting the EFI partition and editing the XML. My confusion is, I am not able to boot up my hackintosh at all, how would you recommend me to mount the EFI partition of my internal SSD?
Or should I get a second SSD to install a stable Windows 10 version and then mount the EFI partition from there?

Or should I make changes in the Flash Drive files I used to install this in the first place?

First try to boot from your USB flash drive without any modifications.
If you get the exact same error message do the following:
  • Download EFI Mounter v3 and Clover Configurator
  • Use EFI Mounter to mount the EFI partition on your flash drive.
  • Remove OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi from the EFI/EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI folder
  • Use Clover Configurator to open your config.plist
  • Go to RT Variables -> CsrActiveConfig and change 0x03 to 0x67
  • Go to Install Drivers and select OsxAptioFixDrv
  • Save your config.plist and close Clover Configurator

Actually after doing trying out a few different things, I realized one of my Memory sticks is causing the issue (There were memory related error-codes on the motherboard). When I removed the one causing the issue, the system booted up fine with the remaining 16GB.

Unfortunately I won't be able to return the memory anymore since I've travelled out of the US.

Thank you so much for your help and I really appreciate it!
