Audio - HDMI Audio AppleHDA [Guide]

Hello, I'm having issues with HDMI audio on Sierra (10.12.2). I have no output devices listed under Sound.
I'm using a GTX 960 and Nvidia web drivers (video is perfect)
I have attached screenshot of terminal when I run the command and also attached my config.plist.
I also tried HDMIAudio-1.1.dmg install but that did not work either (has since been removed)
Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

This is Terminal when HDMIAudio-1.1.dmg was installed:

My apologies toleda, sorry about that.

This is a KVM virtual machine with MSI GTX 960 2GB.
Clover EFI Install options:
- UEFI Booting Only
- Clover in the ESP
- Drivers64UEFI

ACPI/Patched/ is empty.
IOJones, Console, AppleHDA.kext, Config.plist, Boot Log (DPCIManager) are attached.
Nvidia Web Driver 367.15.10.25F01 (HDMI video works great)
Problem is no sound (non listed in output).

Thanks for any help :)

Set to NO
Remove property: config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/t2-10.10-10.11-Capri-Port _0x7-HDMI2DP
Save, restart, reply with new files.

First of all, you are a genius. This instantly worked and now I have HDMI sound. I'm incredibly grateful.

One small issue: now my bluetooth doesn't work. (It's possible that I messed it up previously and just didn't notice until now.)

I tried reinstalling everything using multibeast and selecting various USB configurations (the Bluetooth forums say that this is often a USB port issue). None of the multibeast configs worked as single installations or together.

I'm happy to move this question to the bluetooth forum, but wanted to check with you first in case it's related to the changes I made trying to get HDMI audio working. And, as before, I my build is a GA-Z77-WIFI setup with integrated Bluetooth 4.0.

Thanks for all your help.

No and no.
Problem specific to your configuration.

I've done more research and found ways to ensure I've got a vanilla appleHDA and eliminated any conflicting kexts. I seemed to make progress because I can now see outputs in my sound settings and I can finally select HDMI. However, I still don't get sound. When I ran a video off of ESPN, at first there's an Ad that has no sound, then when the ad is over, I get an error that says "media_err_decode_deadline". The only thing I can think of now is whether I'm using the correct audio codec. I'm using inject 1 (layout 1) which is good for most Realtek ALCxxx configs, but I'm wondering if my codec is actually CA0132 (creative) for my GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 mobo. The AppleALC.kext I downloaded says it will support it, but I couldn't find a SSDT-HDEF that listed this. The inject/layout for CA0132 would be 9, 10, 11, or 12.

Could this be the problem and is there a solution? I tried changing the inject to 11, but that didn't help. All updated files attached.

Ray

Hi Toleda,
I thought maybe you could help me out?
The problem is that I have not got sound working out from microHDMI IntelHd620. (adapter microHdmi/Hdmi)
AppleHDA internal sound/mic/headphones works well with AppleHDA_ALC236.kext.
So the only problem is HDMI audio out.
I get the picture nicely displayed att TV 1080p via hdmi..
Att system/sound/sound out. does not show hdmi-out device at all.
Mirone and Jake Lo have tried to help me a LOT (thanks to them the marvelous support!!), with several modified dsdt and clover, for example renaming GFX0 to IGPU etc...
But still no go :(
I have extract my ACPI tables and Codec_Dump through Linux, if you maybe needed if you can help me?

Heres my Laptop spec.
os Sierra 10.12.3 (16D30a) beta
Lenovo Yoga 710 IKB
Kaby Lake
Intel i7-7500U
IntelHd620

Installed kext: S/L/E/ CodecCommander
L/E/ FakePCIID,FakePCIID_intel_HD:Graphics,FakePCIID_intel_HDMI_Audio,FakePCIID
E/C/K/O FakePCIID_intel_GbX,FakeSMC.

I would be very grateful if you come up with a solution to this promblem?
Thanks in advance!
Good day!
