GB-Z170X UD5 i219-V and i211 ethernet

I went ahead and copied everything from /Library/Extensions to there, although I don't know if it was necessary. Also, I kept having problems with AppleIGB.kext and ethernet, so I switched to the other port, removed AppleIGB.kext, and installed IntelMausiEthernet into /Library/Extensions and on EFI (still needed to install there for some reason). I haven't had any trouble since then.

I had success loading the i211 Ethernet port with the AppleIGB v.5.3.5.3 with MultiBeast and also put the kext in EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other... I then opened MultiBeast and checked the older version of ApplIGB and both versions of IntelMausiEthernet and I have both ports working. The i211 is labeled Ethernet and the I219Vs is labeled PCI Ethernet Slot Ethernet in System Preferences. It seams both ports work with different drivers/kexts.

@swingnd I'll try that thanks

Update: I'm only using one network port (i219v2) with IntelMausiEthernet (latest version). Running both network ports seemed unstable. I think you need two different MAC addresses (one for each port) and then you should be fine. I could not get it to work and simplified since I only have one network.

I need to update my hardware, oops.

Is ONE of the ports working? The problem I'm having right now is I can't seem to get Ethernet to work at all. I can see it's seeing a port in Network, but it doesn't seem to be able to acquire an address, so it says it's not connecting to the internet. I've got the exact same board.

I have the same board, and was having issues with IntelMausiEthernet (in S/L/E) randomly "unplugging" (network status said cable unplugged, after which it wouldn't be recognized on either port). Installed AppleIGB v.5.3.5.3 to S/L/E with Kextbeast and added copies of both kexts to EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other for good measure. KERNAL PANIC. Managed to get into the EFI to remove both kexts from Clover, and system boots fine again. As of yet, ethernet is staying connected with those two kexts in S/L/E. If anybody has more experience with this board and can suggest an ideal setup for ethernet I'm all ears.

EDIT: Nope... it's still "unplugging" ethernet at random...
