Hello,
I did an install on the HP Elitebook 840 G1 with Sierra 10.12.2 followed this guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...book-using-clover-uefi-hotpatch-10-11.189416/
Everything is working fine, audio, display resolution sleep... but I want to use the laptop with a "HP UltraSlim Dock 2013" docking station to use a screen via one of the two DisplayPorts.
With the laptop connected to the docking station I have some weird problems. The audio out of the docking station didn't work and I can't get the DisplayPorts working.
Does anybody use the 840 G1 with the docking station? Could anybody give me a hint how to fix that problem with the docking station within the config.plist?
Thanks in advance!

Your profile/signature is not filled out as requested in the guide you claim to have followed... Please fix.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
("Personal Details" link from "profile menu" in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"

Hi RehabMan,
I did an update of the signature- sorry for this.

Hi RehabMan,
I did an update of the signature- sorry for this.

Your profile is wrong. i5-4200u cannot have HD4000. iX-4xxx is Haswell. HD4000 is Ivy. So one of the specs is wrong...
Please research your hardware carefully and correct.

Okay- once again sorry... Of course it's a HD4400.
I replaced the WLAN module with a BCM94352HMB- WLAN and Bluetooth are fully working.
The attached file is the config.plist of the working Clover UEFI partition. Like I said- everything is working instead of DisplayPorts and the sound with the docking station.

Read guide, post #1, "Problem Reporting".

This ioreg shows audio working, correct setup (as per guide) and with external monitor connected to DP port.
I don't see any issue.

Hello RehabMan,
I don't know what I could say... but now both DisplayPorts are working with the laptop attached to the docking station. I don't know why...
When I did the test I have had Clover 3961 installed- then I did an update to 3974. This is the only thing I changed. I can't believe, that this was the trick.
The posted IOReg was with an attached Display Port on the Laptop- not on the docking station.
The only thing which is still not working is the sound output of the docking station. The sound comes still from the laptop speakers and not from the attached external speakers connected to the docking station.
If I connect the speakers to the headphone output of the laptop, the internal speakers are muted and the output is correct directed to the headphone output.
I did an update of the "problem report" files. Now with the monitor connected via DisplayPort and speakers attached to the docking station.

This would involve changes to the AppleHDA XML...
