Hi, first of all, I am a newbie, I own a mac mini 2010 2nd hand and running 10.10 on SSD HD setup. I was unable to source a 2012 i7 model at reasonable price for upgrade so I may as well Hackintosh the ready have hardware I've got. To experiment, I have a spare NUC DC3217 brought in a fire sale for 200 in 2014 with 8GB ram 250 GB Toshiba msata off parts from work place. It is fully functional win 8 unit so the question is:
What do I need in hardware to turn it into a ready hackintosh? Which wifi/bt combo card do I need for example?
What I need to be aware off in terms of hardware?
Can this NUC run latest build of 10.12?

I would appreciate all kind words of advice and links to great posts for a start.

Thank you all very much in advance

That NUC is very Hackintosh-friendly. I have one myself, and though I haven't yet gotten around to installing Sierra on it, I've heard it works fine with Sierra (as it does with previous versions of OS X). Here's a very useful thread on hackintoshing the DC3217BY - the first post links to a guide for updating to Sierra: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-scqs-intel-nuc-dc3217by-clover-el-capitan.176058/.

As for the Wifi/Bluetooth combo card, the available slot is Mini PCIe, so your best bet is a Broadcom BCM94360CD (which works OOB, no drivers needed). See this thread for details: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-airport-pcie-half-mini-v2.104850/.

Good luck, and have fun!

Thank you for the help, I am now sourcing a few wifi cards and dongles in hope I can plug and play, BCM94360 based cards are pretty expensive perhaps a wifi alone and bt on usb dongle solution is better? thank you very much.
