Hello shilohh,
I'm going through your updated guide and running into a problem with the video output post-install:
I get a black screen unless I use nv_disable=1.

First I tried the kepler SSDT-1.aml as per your instructions. My 780 is in slot 1.
When that didn't help I tried AGDPfix (v1.3); sadly that did not help either.

Any ideas on what to begin troubleshooting?
This is my first time with the MacPro6,1 definition, my previous OS-install did not require it.
Do you have the correct version of then nvidia driver installed and active?

I believe so; I downloaded version 367.15.10.25f02 today and the prefpane has the NVIDIA Web Driver option selected, as opposed to OS X Default Graphics Driver.

Reading your post about similar issues gave me the idea to see if the system was responsive or not when the black screen is up:
Pressing CTRL+CMD+Power button (for less than a sec) restarts the computer, so I take that as a sign that it's responsive.

I also saw Tony's post about a new way to enable the NVIDIA driver but trying it changed nothing sadly.

The computer acts just like it always did right after an OS update was released that broke the webdrivers; boot progresses up to a point and then monitors go black and eventually into sleep mode.

We have native working NVRAM so there is no need for a boot flag or clover to force the driver to load. The prefs pane works for us.

I'd try switching back to the grey ssdt1 from the install folder.

So I uninstalled the webdrivers and rebooted.
Now both monitors suddenly work again and About this mac reports "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3071 MB".
That is with no Webdrivers.

How is that possible? Did they change something with regards to the 780 support since Yosemite? (the version I was running previous)

I don't really have any good applications to test video performance with but I read to try Chess and that works.

This is confounding.

I've tried reinstalling the driver, no change.
I wonder though, it's hard to find an official link to the driver. The one I got is the one linked from this site.

Perhaps there are issues with it.

I will try a few more things and then maybe a full reinstall.

Hi shilohh,

So I am trying the new files, but first I tried using the RunAppleIntelInfo. The output it gave me was as follows:

I am not sure what I am supposed to do with this though. I also did a google search on this app and read through something on InsanelyMac. In that article, it looks like a console of some sort should have loaded. But it looks like it requires Xcode. I tried to install that from the App store but it wouldn't let me because I am on Yosemite.

I also tried running the ssdtPRGen and received the following output:
