@syscl Hey man, I used your script on my XPS 13 9350 i5 6200U QHD. It's working perfectly! Great job!
Note for others using this tool: It will not work properly if the directory it is within has spaces! i.e. "XPS 13 stuff"

Is everyone getting only around 4HRS and no more battery life under OS X? I get this (half) battery life in OS X with both my own patched DSDT/SSDT, HWP, and also with Syscl's tool's generated DSDT/SSDT.

Anyone got battery life close to windows in OS X? Willing to donate if someone can get battery life around 7/8 hrs like Windows!

I changed the default values for HWP to match 2.8 as well. Booted back into Windows and have some corruption issues. Luckily I can still copy off my important files but for now I'm keeping HWP off. With it on, I didn't notice a dramatic difference with it on in tangible battery life. It definitely hit lower frequencies more often, around the 500mhz rather than hovering at 1ghz, however battery life is the same (around 4 HRS) compared to Windows' 8 hours.

Reading through the forum related to hwpenabler.kext (Goodwin). Is it possible that the corruption issues are related to it loading and unloading at sleep/wake? If that's the case, would a script to load it at wake fix the issue? There has to be a reason for the corruption. I am not using a SSDT.aml at load. Just the hwpenabler. I'm at a loss but willing to try the script.

How do you measure battery life? Just actual use?
Is the activity monitor reliable for checking battery remaining?

I definitely was able to use more than four hours - the whole day, with battery still juiced up. I did browsing, reading PDF files using Preview. But that was with "El Capitan 10.11.6", and without a functioning wifi card.

I also just booted into Windows. Everything is still there.

Hi, how did you configure HWPEnabler? In the clover ?

@Sevinkroff I wondered if you add HWPEnabler kext yourself? I use @syscl script also and couldnt find any HWPEnabler Kext in it

Anybody tested tb3 with 10.12.2 ? Is it works ? If so what is your SMBIOS id ?

I'm using @syscl config and my usb C hub is not recognized, but using my old clover config which is macbookpro12,1 it works

here's the kext.
http://kludgets.com/VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip

I've since added these features:
1. four fingers spread / pinch
2. two finger zoom in / zoom out
3. two fingers swipe from edge (for notification)
use in combination with keyboard shortcuts

this has some of quirks and only for testing - though I'm using it for myself.

on a side note:
-- I think it is unfair that the ApplePS2 guy copies from Voodoo and other open source projects, yet doesn't share his own improvements and fixes

Can we add 3fingers or 4fingers swipes?

Can we add 3fingers or 4fingers swipes?

it has 4 fingers swipe
it also has code for 3 finger swipe / pinch/ spread. but I disabled it for now as it conflicts with tluck's 3 finger drag code.

other features:
1. momentum scroll for horizontal scrolling; which makes horizontal scroll in Finder usable and horizontal scrolling in text editors smooth.
2. there is also 2 finger swipe from all edges.

the gestures are probably more than enough. they still need tweaking. especially the 4 finger spread and pinching.
there is some redundancy in the code, with secondary finger tracking, so it has to be optimized

Cool, thanks

download the kext. edit its Info.plist
hwpenabler could also be configured from clover without kext- that is probably what the script does.
