Kaby Lake HD620 working...

This the first example I know of.

Long and short of it:
- as would be expected, Kaby Lake CPU supported by using FakeCPUID (with Skylake ID)
- somewhat surprising (lucky guess on my part), Kaby Lake HD620 supported by using FakeID/IntelGFX and FakePCIID kexts.

Assuming it has replaceable WiFi, might be worth a try... (it seems a bit expensive though for what you're getting!)

Keep in mind the latest laptops have I2C trackpads, which are not well supported (drivers are an early WIP and need a lot of work).

What is the support for killer wireless? I'm pretty sure it is Broadcom chips.

Not sure as I don't have access to one. These are the specs though:

Killer Wireless-AC 1535, Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth 4.1.

Ok thank. Looks replaceable though and it is cheaper than buying a MacBook Pro with similar build quality, better specs and more ports.

Thanks for the info. I've never tried hackintosh'ing with a laptop.

Things to watch out for:
- WiFi whitelist in BIOS
- no facility to change DVMT-prealloc (the Kaby Lake Lenovo mentioned in post #1 had it set as required by default)

There are some ASUS/HP with similar specs, less money...

Did you already get your hands on that Razer Blade? Looks nice from the pictures (although I'd prefer a slimmer bezel), would be interesting if the build quality is comparable to a MacBook.

Especially the touchpad is often a deal breaker to me, didn't find a PC notebook yet that can match Apples touchpad "magic" (open for other suggestions as well...).
