Hi,

Thank you so much for this tutorial. But I have a question.
There is a problem with my DisplayPort to VGA adaptator.
The max resolution I get is 1280x1024 and my screen is a 1920x1080. It work at 1920x1080 with DisplayPort to VDI and miniHDMI to HDMI but not with DisplayPort to VGA.
I tried to switch the resolution with SwitchResx but at 1920x1080 there is some problem (too many pixels.....) And on this software my monitor is "unknow" (it's iiyama)

Thank you very much for your help.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this - if there's a better location on this site for "troubleshooting" vs. "install problems" I'm happy to move it. I've got a NUC5i3MYHE that I built about a year ago thanks to this guide. It's been working nearly flawlessly the entire time. only recently have I run into this issue, and I'm not sure how to properly diagnose it.

In a nutshell, the system randomly freezes up - more and more frequently and consistently. The only resolution is a hard reboot. When this happens, it's still running - sometimes I can move the mouse across the screen, but keyboard commands are ignored. It still appears on the LAN, though I cannot SSH or VNC into it. I thought it might be related to USB - i feel like it was happening when I connected my iPhone to the box, but it's definitely happened on its own without connecting any USB devices to it as well.

Currently running 10.11.6 (15G1212). I basically never shut the system down; I occasionally reboot when necessary for updates or maintenance (unless i'm resolving the issue described with the hard boot).

BIOS version MYBDWi30.86A.0032.2015.0907.1811

What's the best place to start? I've been thrilled with this machine for a long time. Would hate to start all over again. :(

Any pointers greatly appreciated. thanks!

Hi to all and thanks for the guide!
I have NUC5i5ryh (bios 060) sierra 10.12.2 and LG 27UD68 4K Monitor connected with mini displayport to displayport cable.
The only drawback, is that when the system starts and loads, the monitor starts flickering and i cant see the log-in screen. I have to power it off and then turn it back on.
My question is, if anyone had a similar problem, has managed to solve it ?
I also have tried CoreDisplayPatcher (mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2) but it didn't solve the problem.
Thanks!https://postimg.org/image/gp5so87mv/

OK, I managed to get a Fusion drive working with a 250 GB m2 SATA drive and a 2 TB Samsung 2.5" notebook drive. However, I seem to have some graphics issues with sluggish performance and changes in Safari tabs' gray shades, and I have lost sound. There is no output option in my Sound Control Panel (I'm connected to a 27" Philips display via miniDisplayPort). Any idea what might be the cause of these? Otherwise, I'm very happy with my 2.25 TB fusion drive!

Anyone else lose bluetooth in the latest update (10.12.2)?

Mine disappeared entirely, "No Bluetooth hardware found"

I'm having several problems with 10.12.2, but they are all now clover related. My original problem was improper sleep/hibernate recovery, and I ended up breaking Clover in the process of trying to fix that. When I can get it to actually boot, my bluetooth still works fine.

Is there an updated guide for clover with a 5i5RYH board with 10.12?
