Dock autohide not working/freezing (video link inside)

Since updating to 10.12.1 I have been having an issue with the dock. I have it set to autohide and when I hover the mouse over the dock, it freezes. If I move the mouse very slowly, it behaves normally. Anyone have any ideas on a fix?


If the dock isn't set to autohide, it behaves normally. The autohide docks works fine if I create a new user account.

are you using NativeDisplayBrightness by any chance (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/beta-release-nativedisplaybrightness-0-0-2-testing.205564/)? This app was interfering with the autohide function for me.
