What options were selected under "Drivers and Customize" tabs of MB 6.0 for everyone? I tried a few variations and they all seem to work the same without any noticeable differences.

The only issue I have right now is stuttering audio when streaming through browser (SoundCloud, etc.).
 
My audio works out of the green port in mavericks, but I have to max my speakers volume knob just to hear anything at all. I'm not sure what to do.

I followed your guide pretty close to exact. And I have everything working flawlessly (even sleep). What I can't get to work, is the core stepping on the CPU. Its locked at 3.4ghz! Its only a 3770 (non-k) so I'm limited to a 4.3ghz overclock which is what its on now. But not even being able to use its standard clock speeds (turbo boosted to 3.9ghz) really limits its performance. How did you get yours to work? I am using a DSDT-free installation.

I no longer support this guide (see the top of page 1 for a link to PJALM’s newer guide), but to answer your question, I never had problems with the CPU speed – it just worked. I set the BIOS multiplier to 42 in my case, and originally chose a SMBIOS of Mac Pro (the base default) which gave me several pstates. Nowadays I run an iMac SMBIOS which only gives me 1.6 and 4.2, but solves some other problems.

I think if I were you I would try another SMBIOS and/or SSDT, including alternative ways to generate those things (e.g. the SSDTPRGen script, Chameleon Wizard, etc.).

Hi there, was hoping for some help....

Am trying my first Hackintosh build based on this motherboard. (Asus Gene V) I can't seem to find any links for the required BIOS. I also don't understand what a SMBIOS is exactly.

Any help would be appreciated to any link to a BIOS file that will work. (the ones on the first page are dead)
 
Has anyone tested this for Sierra? I have been having a hard time trying to run multibeast and getting everything working now.

You are? How so? I have been having issues with get multi beast working and which options to select. Can you aid me? I was thinking of building another machine however if I can get it running on this it would be great.

I do not use multibeast since a couple of years. I do use Clover. A lot of stuff here and there are pretty well documented. Use the search tool on Tonymacx'. You'll find everything you need to. Z77 is a pretty safe board and powerfull enough to go ;)
See specs in my signature for SMBIOS, if you've got the same kind of configuration.
