Hey everyone!

I have been a Mac user for almost 7 years now and i'm planning to replace my iMac with a hackintosh since I want better performance (not that the iMac is so bad).

After spending a couple of hours on this forum, I have put together a build list shown below. After using a Mac for almost 7 years, I have become quite used to that everything 'just works'. Therefore I'm hoping that this build will work well and not give me any surprises such as sound, magic keyboard, iMessage (I know this probably require some tweaking), handoff and continuity not working.

Any suggestions/improvements to this build?

Thanks!

Looks good other than a few concerns. For Wifi BT go with the BCM94360CD instead.
The Noctua cooler 6600K combo looks good but add another fan if you will overclock.

I don't have plan to overclock. I am aware of that I will not get AC performance. What is the advantage of choosing BCM94360CD?

It's the best choice if you want to be able to get cont./handoff working in macOS.

The Ali Express one looks like the better deal. See if you can find it on the Ebay store nearest to you.

Yeah it does. Thanks for the response. I'll make a new thread when I receive all the components :)
