Can some one clear this up for me? i don't really understand something...
I've read on one of the posts that nvda_drv=1 is no longer working in Sierra and we need to add a new line in the system parameters saying NvidiaWeb = true, the issue here is that i managed to force my old driver to work with build 16B2657, and the driver recognizes the graphics card ONLY by using nvda_drv=1, if i exclude this line then it doesn't work.

The only thing i don't quite understand is why am i still having this tearing and messed up graphics, while every thing works
super fast.
Is that a just the driver that doesn't quite work 100% or is it some thing with the OS.

You need to patch AppleGraphicsControl.kext and config.plist.

Firstly edit AppleGraphicsControl.kext and add your Mac Board ID. Open config.plist with Clover Configurator click on SMBIOS and read what Board ID says.

Then edit AppleGraphicsControl.kext and add your Mac board ID, don't forget to add none. I use MacBookPro9,2 and it was not listed. Once I added it in saved it and loaded it with kext wizard. and rebooted my graphics card was showing correctly.

I also added in config.plist under "System Parameters" I added NvidiaWeb=true. Under boot Arg I did not add Nvda_drv=1

To edit AppleGraphicsControl.kext (Right mouse click)—->Show Package Contents

AppleGraphicsControl.kext ->Contents->Plugins->AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy.kext->Contents->Info.plist->ConfigMap

My card is already showing correctly, thats not the issue...
the issue is that i still have tearing and laggy graphics, but the driver works regardless.
what is all that procedure you mentioned for? what will i achieve?

Check System Preferences.Nvidia Driver Manager,Graphics Drivers and see if Nvidia Web Driver is highlighted. I suspect OSX Default Graphics Driver is being used.

Clover has a new way of setting graphics in Sierra with setting "System Parameters" NvidiaWeb=true. If this is not set in config.plist and Nvda_drv=1 taken out it won't work.

Yes is says OSX Default Graphics Driver is being used.
the issues is that i have my board ID included as you mentioned above and i removed the nvda_drv=1 and added NvidiaWeb=true, but still nothing...

maybe i should change the inject kext Nvidia to yes?

And i just noticed this thing... look at the very top for OS version, is says 16B2655, what the hell is that?
shouldn't that say 16B2657?

till yesterday the new driver for the 10.12.1 was working just fine... now I'm not sure what happened but I haven't done any new configurations to my system and the screen falls a sleep every time I restart the machine. am I missing something ?

Update on one of the major problems I faced this last 24 hours. Soooo.... I have two different SSD Drives and on one I have windows 10 and on the other I have Mac OS Sierra. I wasn't logged in to the Mac OS drive at the last 24 hours and I was about to use it when I faced the situation where my screen was shutting down in mid start up.
I was researching here at the comments to see if anyone else got the same issue and as I see the last comments Are from the last couple of days.
I'm using GTX 750 ti and everything was good even after upgrading to 10.12.1 and applying the new Nvidia driver.
not sure how and why but till 2 days ago I had a minix connected to my 2nd HDMI port on my screen and even though I installed the update by creating fresh install of all the system, everything worked out of the box.
now, I disconnected my minix streamer from that 2nd port and maybe the auto detect of the screen was acting as if there was nothing connected wile starting up the boot loader .
sooo.... I simply switched the cable from my monitor HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 where the minix was connected and nothing good happened.
so I changed the ports on my Gtx 750 ti and the screen finally showed the desktop as it should.
Hope this help you guys ... also ... I did updated my Mac board serial as was shown on that guide someone posted here but I'm sure its not what was necessary.

if somone have problem with monitor doesnt wake from sleep, try use DVI cable (for higer resolution DVI dual link - in my case) (or Display port- didnt try) instead of HDMI, for me solved another problem with strange apple logo on boot
