Hi Fraisdos125,
I do have exactly the same laptop and i would be very pleased if you can create a guide.
I can even try it and take pictures or more to help you with the documentation.
I would like to install it on my X250 but I never tried before.
Do you think you could install Sierra or do you thinkEl Capitan is the best choice for now ?
I like Sierra and would recommend it. The remaining under progress issues are TrackPad prefplane (ioio & automator replace it) & Fn Keys. These issues are not really annoying.

Hi fraidos, i just bought a x250... and i'm trying to boot sierra from USB.. and i cannot get it past the first picture you posted, just stuck at the +++++++++ signs....

which options did you change in bios in order to make it boot?, tryed the options on the links you've posted but still nothing.

Thanks!

Also, can you share your final clover efi folder?
Here are bios settings:
Tabs Config —> USB —>USB 3.0 mode —> Enabled

—> Power —> Intel (R) Rapid ….—> Disabled (if Enabled, the boot process stuckes after ++++++++++++++++++)

Security —> Security Chip —> Disabled (if enable wake after sleep will not work)

—> Virtualization —> Disable both options

—> Security boot —> Disabled (if not it is impossible to boot other OS than Windows)

Startup —> UEFI/Legacy boot —> Both

—> UEFI/Legacy Boot Priorty —> UEFI First (for using Clover EFI)

Guide should come for Sierra this weekend, in the meantime you can use the attached EFI data, Kexts and follow https://github.com/shmilee/T450-Hackintosh guide for ALC232 (go the folder ALC232, type make and make install; DSDT,.. for sound already into attached DSDT/EFI folder)

Some kexts are relevant for BT4+wifi card BCM94352z. This card can replace the current intel wireless one without whitelist issue but there is no windows driver enables to switch on the card (even if windows reports that the material works properly).
If you didn't install a such card, you can remove BRCM**** kexts and FakePCII****kexts.
All clover kext patches can be deleted as well (all of those related to the wireless card)

Can you provide the clover config you use (including kexts, config.plist, DSDT,SSDT,..) ?

Unica change was only in config.plist.
Where have you got this config file ?

Can you do a test with the attached one and let me know. Use this one for the usb stick.

Certainly, i was, i already have the machine working, no wifi yet but is a not a problem, boot process is really fast.

in some detail... with the latest efi folder you uploaded, the boot process gets really slow and giving acpi errors like

ACPI ERROR: Method Parse/Execution failed [\SMI_] (Node ffffff8029197f10), AE_AML_INIFINITE_LOOP

But if i use your previous posted EFI folder system goes perfect, if i set video memory on bios at 256mb and not 512mb, it gaves the same error regarding which EFI folder is used.

And now another concerning question... the laptop runs REALLY hot, acording to hwsensors, while on intensive use (photo rendering or playing games) the processor gets up to 95º! and smells like something is burning... and the fan is not speeding up much, i fully disasembled and cleaned but it was already fine, is that the same on your x250? i'm actually runing bios 1.12 and going to upgrade to latest 1.24, if that doesn't do anything to help, i'll be forced to modify the fan so it runs faster.

Oh and, btw, is there any way to make the trackpoint usable? all the buttons are right click and sentivity is way too high.

Thanks!

Boot process:
First, update the bios to the latest version and take care to the DSDT. You should get your own. I recommend F4 at clover boot for getting the original files and apply the attached patches + two manual mods (patches have to be applied first):
- First manual mods is related to the merge method from two batteries to one: find and replace every "Notify (...BAT1)" or Notify (...BAT2)" by "Notify (....BATC)" and declare that BATC is an external DeviceObj by adding these two lines:
External (BATC, DeviceObj)
External (_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.BATC, DeviceObj)
Don't forget to add and compile SSDT-BATC provided by rehabman (thanks again for all the job he does).
Do the same modifications into the file SSDT-3.
- Apply patches "4_graphics_Rename-PCI0_VID.txt" & "5_graphics_Rename-B0D3.txt" into the file SSDT-10 and manually find and replace "VID" by "IGPU" and "B0D3" by "HDAU".

Don't forget to patch the file SSDT-1 with "4_graphics_Rename-PCI0_VID.txt".
For more information on which patches to apply on which .dsl file, have a look to the numbers file attached. You should check if this table is reflecting your config.

Fans & temp:
Which CPU do you have ?
Did you create your own ssdt ?

Trackpad:
I use the voodoo driver, ioio rehabman mod (install it first) and an automator script I have created: available in the attached files.
