Solving NVIDIA Driver Install & Loading Problems

I don't get full acceleration.

AGDPfix installed.
WebDriver Installed.
Add my Board ID to AGDP with none.

Still don't get full acceleration.

Any suggestion?

Change to iMac14,2
I removed all of these and changed it with iMac14,2 Board-ID but still shown NVIDIA Chip Model 7 MB.

Note: Even HD530 shown Display 7MB.

Before the playing AppleGraphicControl.kext I backup to original one. But when I install again this getting this error.

Edit: I fixed it.

I manually deleted AppleGraphicControl.kext and installed original one with KextBeast restart and its worked.

Probably I break it this kext somehow.

Hi there all;

This is my 1st post so hopefully its in the right thread - apologies if not. I need some help and it seems that this is a good place to ask!
I am trying to setup an eGPU (purchased from Bizon) on my iMac. I contacted Bizon and am awaiting their reply. But any help would be appreciated.

I have an Nvidia 980ti in the eGPU. The Bizon prefpane 'install wizard' came up with an error when it looked for a 'web driver'. So being impatient, rather than wait for Bizon to get back to me I looked for the correct Nvidia web driver for my
that it was OK to install a driver for a non-existent card... as the eGPU unit was not yet hooked up.

However on restart after install the iMac hangs about a quarter of theway into the startup progress bar. I assume this is because of driver incompatibility? I tried resetting pram (cmd-opt-p-r) but it still hangs. The only thing I can launch is OS X recovery which has only system restore options. And single-user command line. And of course I can see the drive in target disk mode from another mac. Safe mode won't boot.

Please advise what I should do - I need my computer back! Basically I'm guessing I need to uninstall the Nvidia driver - either via command line in single user mode - if any tips on that please provide a step by step as I'm not confident in messing with command line) OR by hunting down the files in target disk mode and deleting them.

My system:
iMac 27" late 2013 / 3.2 ghz / native card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 755M
Yosemite 10.10.5

Many thanks in advance for any tips,

Rory

Mac OS X Sierra , Nvidia 660ti , your fix with rc scripts installed on target volume, worked. thank you

Just 3 Step and No needs Change to any Mac type..iMac,etc
1. sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/info.plist
2. Then change NVDARequiredOS to this (assuming you're indeed on 16B2333e)
<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
<string>16BXXXX</string>(Macos build)
3. Patch with AGDPfix....Restart

For me changing system def from 12.2 to 14.2 fixed it!

Just updated to Sierra. got a GEFORCE GT740SC.

Only with bootflag nv_disable=1 i can boot

Tried editing config.plist file to have web graphics.

Unable to install current nVidia drivers. Says Mac OS X version is not comparable.

Computer was working great with El Capitan.

Apple silently pushed a new build of 10.12.1 and there haven't been any new drivers for it.
