Webcam doesn't work, but detected in System Information

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting my webcam to work on Sierra, It get's detected in System Information as shown in the screenshot below.

Can someone let me know how to proceed to get it working properly? Any help is much appreciated :) Thanks in advance.

Hi again Rehabman :)

Issue is, If I open PhotoBooth for an example, it says no webcam detected. Any suggestions? Thanks!

No idea. Try UVCCameraControl.app

When I use the CameraControl app, the light on the webcam turns on, but the image still doesn't appear :(

The camera is being detected, but is not working. So probably some incompatibility.

But let's see if you configured USB correctly...

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):
Code: 
kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Attach output of (in Terminal):
Code: 
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

Also, can you please upload the AppleHDA.kext that came with Sierra if you have it? I have accidentally deleted it to use VoodooHDA and I can't try the AppleHDA patch without it now :(

Your USB setup is not correct.

Plan on creating a custom SSDT for USBInjectAll.kext. See here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-10-11-usb-changes-and-solutions.173616/
