Hi Stork, hoping you can point me in the direction of being able to get HDMI audio out working with one of these boards (I have the GA-H97N-WIFI v1.1 on BIOS rev F8) and an i3-4370. I've seen a few threads but I'm new to all of this and a bit confused. Thanks!

I, personally, don't use HDMI audio. However, we have a whole sub forum devoted to it > http://www.tonymacx86.com/forums/hdmi-audio.59/

Additionally, please provide complete details in your Profile.

Mobo: motherboard manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model (e.g., i7-4770K)
Graphics: Video card manufacturer/model and/or Intel Integrated Graphics version (e.g., HD4600)

See my Profile items to the left of my post, under my name. By completing your Profile and signature block, you help us help you better.

Thanks. All set with the profile stuff. I'll check out the forum some more.

Hey Stork :) nice build write up. Quick question for you as I've decided to bite the bullet and get one of these boards with a 4790. You're Apple WIFI Bluetooth card. Do you have working Bluetooth when using onboard Mini PCI-E? just thought id ask I've got the same card in a regular PCI-E x16 adaptor.

Yes, BT works great, and, once into the BIOS the BT keyboard and mouse work, but I have to use a USB keyboard to get into the BIOS.

See the link in my signature block for my installation of the iMac WiFi/BT card and mPCIe adapter card. It's straight out of the sticky thread in the Network forum section.

That's great stork :). Just wondered because the Bluetooth side of the card goes through USB not PCI-E guess the Mini PCI-E slot also has USB which is nice. I looked at you're thread in you're signatures. Thanks for you're reply.

Any way to get the Audio on the back to work?

mhm....I've never tried the build in audio other than the headphone jack in the front. Tested it out today because I got some new computer speakers.

Heres what works:
Front:
Out- Yes
Mic- No

Back:
Headphone jack- No
Mic- Yes
Out - No
Rear-?
c/Sub-?
In-?

? as I have tried the aux of the speakers and none of them worked. I don't have anything else to test other than headphones and those didn't work either.

Bluetooth Audio works and that is what I had been using until today.
The speakers I have get powered through USB: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BZ7MALY/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

See the installation guides in my signature block for the version of OS X you're running. If you're running Sierra, I used MultiBeast v9 & chose Drivers > Audio >Realtek ALC8xx > ALC892.
