Hey Everyone!

I'm super new to the Hackintosh Community and this is going to be my first build.
Been looking around and feel I am ready to start purchasing parts! But first I wanted to run my gear list by the best Forum out there to see if you all have any pointers, or if my inexperience has led me to miss something big.

Basically I am looking to build a Dual boot system with a 500GB hard drive split down the middle for Mac and Windows. The main use would be as my Pro Tools rig, so the Firewire PCI card is one of the most important features because my Interface is firewire.

The other main question I would have is WIFI cards. I have the one that was recommend (The TP-LINK N900) for compatibility. But has anyone had luck with a card that offers 802.11 ac?

Components:

Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

Gigabyte GA-H170-D3HP ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory

Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card

BitFenix Nova ATX Mid Tower Case

Corsair RM 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

TP-Link TL-WDN4800 PCI-Express x1 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi Adapter

StarTech.com 3 Port 2b 1a 1394 PCI Express FireWire Card Adapter PEX1394B3

Any pointer and tips would be awesome!

Looking forward to this adventure.

I use one of these for 802.11ac and Bluetooth:
Amazon.com: Fenvi Desktop PC Dual Band 802.11AC Wireless WIFI PCI Express PCI-E Adapter Card 2.4Ghz-450Mbps/5Ghz-1.3Gbps + Bluetooth 4.0 Include Low-profile Bracket for MAC OS X System Hackintosh Windows 7/8: Computers & Accessories Note: It seems Amazon is redirecting to a different Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card. The one it's redirecting to does not seem good.

Handoff, Continuity, iMessage, it all works.

The rest of your components all seem fine. Be aware that the motherboard you've chose has 3 old style PCI slots. Unless you have some old PCI cards you need to use, I'd suggest looking for a board that has all PCI-e slots.

Awesome. I'll definitely go with that Fenvi WIFI card.
Hmm I was thinking I would be fine with the 2 PCIe x16 and the 2 PCIe x1. since I only have the Graphics card, the WIFI, and the Firewire card. I'll look around and see if another Mother board catches my eye though.
Thanks!

Which Fenvi Desktop model would you recommend for high sierra, the: FV101, FV8101, or FV8801?
Note will be installing in z370 qigabyte gaming7 8700k nvme system.

Thanks in advance

I'm unfamiliar with the different Fenvi models.

Also, the Amazon link I previously posted redirects to a different card than I purchased. The one it redirects to doesn't seem good.
