I just upgraded my ProBook 4530s to the latest 10.12.1 Public Beta (16B2548a) and find that my volume control and mute keys now work. I also find that the brightness keys partially work - both the decrease and increase brightness keys will increase the brightness (I have to use Brightness.app to lower the brightness). So obviously some changes have been made with respect to keyboard operation.

EDIT: I guess this is old news. I also see that the increase brightness key simultaneously lowers the volume.

Yes.

I have a DELL 7548 which is virtually flawless under 10.12; even the SD card reader works. I am using Clover to boot, using RehabMan-FakePCIID-2016-0512 for WIFI. When I install 10.12.1 (any beta) the wireless disappears - it says no hardware found. I have the LENOVO Broadcom card NGFF version installed and it works great under 10.12 and the wireless is present during install and time-machine recovery boots. I install all modified kexts into SLE. I am unable to correct this; windows reports 14e4:43b1 but, under 10.12, my MAC reports 14e4:623 which seems weird. Anyway, I have attempted the Clover override to no avail and your Kexts do not attach to the card under the BETA. I know this is probably simple but it has been working so long I've gotten rusty. My DSDT is modified for battery among other things so I can modify that if that's the fix.

Any ideas?

Read post #1 -- it is very clear about the fact that it only reduces the severity.
