anyone have this kp?
"unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".../IOPlatformExpert.cpp
Lots of people do - Use the forum search tool.

If you have the hardware detailed in your profile then your post is off-topic in this thread.

Solved it:
1) had to copy SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1.aml into /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/
2) reboot
3) run audio_cloverALC-120_v1.0b0.command
4) reboot
5) works

So I tried it out with clover 3763, moved all my kexts over to Other folder and added the fakesmc one also.
Booting with without caches, I get the loading bar that the cannot find boot icon (circle with bar across).
If I boot with caches (regardless of inject kexts or not) I get text overlay on the apple logo before loading with some sort of panic.

Did you run into any of these problems?

I was able to boot back into El Cap no problem after multiple tries.

I'm thinking the cannot find boot icon may be due to the fact that I'm using an M.2 card as my boot drive. I'm using the NVMeGeneric kext.

Anyone here using an M.2 card with success?

I am going through some testing.

The upgrade went buttery smooth for me - no issues whatsoever. However I think I should point out that I had and still have my SSDTs in the Patched folder and all of my kexts - including Verde.kext for graphics. Will test USB speeds when I get home.

How did the USB3 tests go?

They didn't :D I updated the OP - USB 3.0 ports do not seem to be working for me at the moment. I remember some people had the same problem on a fresh El Cap installation. I'll be trying to do a fresh install on a separate drive today to see if maybe the upgrade screwed something up.

In the mean time USB 3.1 type A does the USB3.0 speeds - it's the red port on the back of the MoBo that you never use :D

in my case (same mobo) the USB 3.0 ports are working with 5Gb/s - have the standard kexts from Unibeast 7.0.1 for USB.

Yes, had to build a HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_0.kext and to leave IONVMefamily.kext unmodified in the system (don't know why)

I still have a little (annoying) problem with sleep:
If I wake the system up some 10 s after staring sleep all is okay.
But if I wait some minutes until the hardware is going into deep sleep (no more fan noise) the waking up works for the hardware but not the monitor (nVidia GTX750ti with Displayport to monitor @ 3340x1440 pixel). The monitor does not get a signal anymore.
Don't have an idea where to look...

Makes sense, I've read elsewhere that nvmegeneric does not work on sierra.

Did you end up putting HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_0.kext in the kext/10.12 directory and keep the nvmegeneric in the 10.11 directory?

Essentially how did you do the switch?
